Both are comic shorts based on the work of Mangaka Itō Risa and feature speaking house pets. Ebichu is definitly for mature audiences only while Higepiyo is family friendly.

Both series have short casting time, Higepiyo has about 5 mins while Yutori-Chan has about 3 mins plus. Both have a unique character which creates issues for others. Higepiyo is more slice-of-life based with abnormal happenings while Yutori-Chan is set in a workplace. Both have the comedy genre.

Short-episoded comedies centered on animal protagonist with weird facial "deformity".

Both series are cute and funny, sometimes feel childish but enjoyable by adults :)

Short funny adventures with cute pets.

Cute comedy shows with animals as the main characters. The animals can talk (but Chi does not talk with the humans) and have funny adventures. The families who keep the pets are very similar too - mother, father and a son. Higepiyo may be bit more for older kids, while Chi can be enjoyed regardless of age.
