It's a great short-series for children that lets you explore all these everyday situations together with the girls. It's also just super cute to see them hanging out at the cafe while the older operators watch over them. Each episode has its own theme and it's always surprising how much can be packed into 3 minutes. The hand-drawn animations are simple but at the same time very beautiful and full of character.

Having some basic knowledge about Arknights is very helpful to understand the references, but it's not necessary. (The metal crabs belong to Beanstalk, the owner of the cafe. It's an alternate scenario where the ... characters get to live normal lives at the base, the Rhodes Island landship, instead of joining battles as operators)

If I had kids who were able to read subtitles I would force them to watch it.

A lone, wandering Bolívarian Perro who spent much of her lifetime traveling across Terra in search for the origins of her first weapon, a Minoan axe with her name carved on it, Ceobe, affectionately referred to as "Kay," contracted Oripathy during her journey which made her obsessed in collecting every single weapon she could find and adopt the "shoot first, ask questions later" approach through her latent Originium Arts she often infuses to her arsenal of weapons. While in Leithanien, Ceobe encountered Rhodes Island operators who mistaken her as a bandit. She was later taken into R.I.'s custody before being enlisted as their member ... under Vulcan's care and oversight.

During her time in R.I., Ceobe proves to be an airheaded yet adept combatant utilizing her arms mastery to defeat her enemies. Even though she appears to be in her late-teens, Ceobe has an immature mindset and behaves like a children would most of the time, having the mantra of "eat well, drink well, sleep well, and beat up the bad guys!"

During Gavial's homecoming, Ceobe accidentally ate a magic mushroom growing in the jungle of Acahualla, causing her to experience hallucinations and "embarked" on a wild adventure within the Perro's mind. Luckily, it was ended with Gavial smacking her back to reality at the climax of the Acahuallan incident. Had she is left alone, Ceobe would never wake up from her dreams and "became one with Terra."
