At first I had a very bad impression of the show. Episodes were short. Around 12 minutes. But a lot of it was the Intro and Outro songs. So the actual content was around 7-8 minutes? Its painful to watch the intro and outro every 12 minutes, killing the momentum of the show. I was rating it a 4/10 for that reason mainly. However, later I found the show was freely available on Youtube without the Intros and Outros. The show is much better without the interruptions.

of qi, or spiritual life force, through various mystical and martial arts practices. The closest I can give example to a anime fan is how Naruto went into the Frogs dimension where he would meditate and train for years, until he came back with the refined Sage Mode ability.
The more you cultivate the stronger you get it seems. And this dude went into seclusion and cultivated for 10,000 years! He is an Immortal so ages much slower.
The CGI in this show is not that great compared to many other Chinese anime. It looks cringe and stiff at times. But the action animation is not bad. The action is a bit different than what we are used to. Our protagonist is so overpowered he usually defeats all enemies with hardly any movement. He defeats enemies by tapping his foot once , or snapping his fingers, or uttering a word. If he is not instantly killing an enemy, its probably because he is amused, or wants to extract information. If you like overpowered Aura farming ... this is your show.
Not only is he an overpowered mage, he is extremely knowledgeable. Like it seems he can make any kind of pills no matter how rare they are.
The story is not very good. It seems everyone is so ruthless. Its not clear how anybody lives a long life in this world. Even our protagonists kill so many. Oftentimes I felt it wasn't necessary, as they had overwhelming power over others to begin with. I didn't become a fan of any characters. Its just one action after another, and characters are not that interesting.
