Let me tell you this, or actually no, let the song tell everything to you in 4 minutes.

For anyone hesitating or protecting themselves from Film Red spoilers, don't worry, this is completely safe, it has nothing to do with Film Red other than the singer Ado voices the main lead in the movie, nothing else, no crossover characters, no plot hints, nothing.

The same song also played in the One Piece Film Red filler episodes, it has a very weird nostalgic feel for a childhood you've never had, it feels sad, bitter, and familiar but in a beautiful way. Upon hearing the song in Film Red ... and again in the One Piece anime, I thought the accompanying visuals were okay, they did the trick, and they reflected well on the theme of the song, but man the visuals that ship with the song is something else let me tell you, stunning, out of the world. It's like a mix of Ghibli films and world-class clay art that felt like reading through a magical children's book.

Long story short, listen to Ado more often. Also, is it a coincidence that the names Oda and Ado are a semordnilap? Fate works in mysterious ways.

What do you get when you mix Ado's incredible voice, Megumi Ishitani's flawless directing skills, and the stunning character acting sakuga animation of Masami Mori? You get a Masterpiece like this music video.

Unlike the MVs for the other 6 One Piece: Film Red insert songs, this video presents an entirely unique set of characters and a very original art style, which is used to great advantage by Mori, whose character animation often prioritizes the weight and depth of it's subjects. His highly recognisable style, which is praised highly by many in the sakuga community, is heavily prominent in this video, giving the characters an incredibly ... natural flow and realism to their movements. What's more, Mori's storyboards for this video are incredible, and assist in cinematically presenting a great amount of emotion and beauty in just over 4 minutes.

Megumi Ishitani is best known nowadays for her work, directing One Piece episodes 957, 982 and 1015 (regarded as some of the best episodes in the series). Her incredible directorial abilities are on full display in this video, and many interesting choices are made to give the video a special photographic tone. These decisions, with great credit to Nagisa Nishida, include the unique aspect ratio and color palette. All in all, the visuals of this video are remarkable.

Much can be said about Ado's performance of "Where the Wind Blows," and it's easy to praise the lyrics, pacing, instrumentals, and especially Ado's own phenomenal singing voice. If you haven't watched and listened to this music video and song, do yourself a favor and do it. now. it's available right on youtube, and it's nothing less than a masterpiece.

To start off with as always the art here looks really incredible and the animation thats there really compliments the artstyle as well too.

This composition here was from Hata, Motohiro who's worked on some of the doraemon anime if memory serves me correctly. The song sounds pretty chill and its pretty relaxing and fitting for someone like Uta/Ado who's perfectly capable of doing different types of music be it high energy or something more chill yet still upbeat to it.

Overall this was another really great song from the anime ... and even if you're cba bout one piece like i am you can still enjoy the music thats here in the anime.
