This anime physically pained me to watch. Each episode felt like someone was torturing my family on front of me. Every 11-12 minute episode, another method of brutally destroying my mind. God has forsaken this weird, oversexualized dog anime. The idea of "What would it be like to be a dog?" Sounds awesome! But when you throw in, "+18" as a tag you know some toxic wasteland has opened. None of the characters bring anything to the story. The animation and camera angle is below average. (except for the XXX scenes). I could get a message out of "Putting a potato in a blender and ... tossing into a pool" more then I could watching this. The part that makes me most upset is that they had a good idea. Waking up as a dog one day. But lust and greed made them decide "haha hentai". If you wish you experience hell on earth then go ahead and watch this. Otherwise, stay clear of this abomination.

Usually when I come across an extremely stupid anime I ironically give it a rating of 10. Simply an idiotic masterpiece, often these anime amuse with their stupidity. But in this case I'm not able to do that. The most accurate comment is simply: "Excuse me but what the fuck?" The anime literally contains elements of zoophilia. There are literally almost erotic scenes between the heroines and the dog. The fact that the main character is a boy locked in a dog's body doesn't help at all. Karen has no idea about this and initiates strange behavior with the dog.

Few years ago, I watched the movie "The Purge" and I thought "wow, that's America for you"
It all makes sense now, they were predicting this, we need to establish it as soon as possible.

Disposable, and weird, but face-palmingly fun.

Firstly, let me be clear... This is an echi-comedy whose premise is that it's perfectly fine for a teenage girl to sexualize a dog.

Now I don't think most people would be able to run with this premise. But if you are, boy is this an echi for you. The plot itself is about a male student that transforms/reincarnates into a corgi-like puppy. Now there are no scenes or exposition showing how the transformation took place and it doesn't look to be a plot point but if you're watching that's not really a problem. All kinds of totally unnecessary and super-unrealistic ... hijinks ensue which almost always involve the dog ending up in close-echi-proximity with a female. This is the recurring plot-driving device (if you can call this a plot). In the meantime, the dog is trying to figure out its previous human memories while also dealing with the fact that he is now a dog and trying to be a good dog.

I like that it does break the convention of the male being horny or a sex maniac (Look, I'm really stretching here). Here the main female character at least is the total degenerate, whereas the male (dog) just gets into awkward situations whilst being a dog. Not exactly ground-breaking but not every echi is My Dress Up Darling. You got genuine and somewhat realistic tender moments from that MDUD. This anime isn't trying to be deep or sensitive. It's trying to make you laugh at how ridiculous the echi situations come to happen. It never gets you laugh out loud moment though.

As far as the echi itself goes, this is a pretty tame echi. So if you're into or curious about echi-comedies this is an okay starting point. While writing this review, I asked myself, Echirodosama, who is the target audience for this anime? Who should or would like to be watching this anime? I would say this series is for people who are able to accept a blend of echi, comedy, and whilst smirking at the ridiculous facepalm moments.

This show is part of an insidious conspiracy to introduce the Japanese audience to the DARK and SINISTER fetish known as "feet". The Japanese government, formerly run by the upright and honest Shinzo Abe, has entered a DARK COVENENT with the western pornographic demon market in order to create this abomination. Whatever happened to some good old fashioned big naturals? Why we gotta look at feet now? Goddamnit. This show is the anti-Christ.

The excessive and gormless foot imagery is left specifically non-descript in order to allow the viewer to impress their own fantstical version of their idealized "foot" onto the characters. However, this "foot" as ... I am referring to, is not infact a foot. It is the viewers inadequacy and impotency, and they are using this "perfect foot" as an outlet for their sexual frustration, which will eventually turn into deviancy. This show is breeding a new generation of killers, and if we all do not stand up to its immoral and disgusting messaging, we will all fall prey to its dark designs. God bless. Or else.

The action scenes are more beautifully animated than demon slayer, and only appears to drive and propel the show forward! I must say that this season of anime besides Vinland saga and Bungou is pretty weak, but this is a must watch hidden gem! Odd that I don’t see many people talking about it, but take my word on it, embark on a rollercoaster of emotions that is Inu ni Nattara Suki na Hito ni Hirowareta! If you have been looking for a show that will bond your family, this is the show and now is the time! Don’t waste anymore time hesitating and let you and your family be blessed with this s-tier anime. It truly is a masterpiece of our time!

This is a prime garbage tier anime. It encompasses all the worst depravity that is Japan. You should feel ashamed when watching it. If you don't, you're probably a danger to society.
Plot - Non-existent. There is a claim to be one, but its just an excuse to look at young girls panties.
Animation - Not very good. Most of the budget is spent on the numerous gratuitous panty shots.
Characters - No depth. 100% trope.
Story - Trash. I almost never stop watching an anime once I start, but this is getting painful.
Overall - If you're a miserable wretch of a human ... whose only pleasure in life in underaged girls in panties, then this is the story for you.

Dog Shit.

If you’ve ever needed a reason to argue why there needs to be a big, red “wipe out the human race off the face of this earth” reset button then My Life as Inukai-san's Dog serves as an excellent example of why we need that button, and why we must push it immediately.

I don’t think you need me to explain to you why an anime about a harem protagonist transforming into a dog and sometimes performing soft-core acts of bestiality with his kidnapper who happens to be his crush, and sometimes the victims she invites over is fucking creepy.
With art and ... animation so crudely drawn, you’d think the animation team was comprised of chimps, watching this anime feels like walking up to a police station and signing yourself onto a sex offenders list.

It is unbearable to listen to said harem pro-dog-onist constantly whimpering about seeing his crush naked in the same, wimpy, bearly functioning pubescent teen boy voice that you hear in most terrible ecchi harem anime (and probably hentai), but they had the audacity to name him “Pochita”. And after we’ve just had the first season of Chainsaw Man starring the best, chainsaw-wielding doggo-boy and the only Pochita I’ll ever acknowledge, what this anime has done should be, and probably is a crime, nay, a war crime (and yes, I know Pocitha is a common name for dogs in Japan so shut up this is my review.)

Speaking of crimes, if you’ve ever dreamt of becoming a dog and having your snout nommed on, or shoving your snout into a girls gash, and thought you can live those morally questionable fantasies through this… “anime”, then all I can say to you is please, get help. Your parents are worried about you.
Some of my favourite guilty pleasures are trashy, ecchi, hell even just plain bad anime, so I don’t like to be the guy who points and tells you not to watch complete garbage, but if you’re one of those people who watch this seriously or even claim to watch it “ironically” for the lols, then I feel sorry for you.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but My Life as Inukai-san's Dog might actually, somehow be worse than the anime adaptation, and one of the worst anime of 2022, Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer, and that anime hurt me psychically, as in it psychically made me ill watching it.
I called Eiken pure degeneracy, but after watching this I now know what pure degeneracy is. The only mercy this show has that I can think of is that its episodes are only 12 minutes long.

It's about time anime added more representation.

In this anime, we have white women, who are only shown as side characters in movies and real life.

Karen is the main character. Though she is Japanese, she emanates the spirit of white women everywhere, and she makes me proud.

If dogs could understand anime, would they enjoy this show? I don't know; I don't speak dog.

However, if you are an anime degenerate, this show is mandatory watch.

Surprisingly wholesome anime. Came for the view, stayed for the genuinely wholesome and exciting plot. The MC genuinely wants well for his harem, and the girls are sweet and pure-hearted in return. The comedy is funny as well. Overall I enjoyed it a lot. The whole dog thing, while weird to some, is just an excuse to advance the fanservice, if you can get over that, it's a genuinely good time. The animations and voice acting are all stellar as well. Overall, if you don't like too many dark and heavy and depressing elements (which I personally don't), this is a very easy to watch ... anime.

Absolutelly disgusting, i am sorry for the people that worked hard to make this piece of burning dumpster. I felt the need to go and give a hug and apologise to my dog after watching this carnation of a show. I hope that no one else has to go through the pain and suffering of watching a single episode of this. I shall now become a vegan and ask for forgivness from God for all the sins i have commited.
The story is bad and every character is aS blank as the sheet of paper that i used to gudge my eyes out.
The plot follows the ... story of a man who, somehow, finds himself in the body of a dog, and then procceds to get sexually harassed for 12 episodes straight by three very sus women.
I do not know how high the producer of this manga/anime was when making it, but i sure do need some of what he was taking to get my mind off the fact that a whole animation studio and a production team came together to work on this monstrocity.

I was very disappointed with "Inu ni Nattara Suki na Hito ni Hirowareta." The plot was lacking, and the characters were poorly developed. The animation and soundtrack were average at best. I was also horrified by the perverted content in the anime, especially the themes of bestiality, which I found to be morally wrong. I did not enjoy this show and would not recommend it. While the idea of a boy turning into a dog and being taken in by a girl sounded interesting, the execution fell flat. Overall, I found this anime to be a waste of time and was left feeling very shocked.

The first part of this review is about how I feel. The second about the actual show.

This Anime is for me the most disgusting show I've ever seen. The minors we're supposed to be attracted to sexually abuse the dog. I don't care, if he's a transformed human. The girls don't know that, when they use him to masturbat. I don't know why something like this got an Anime and they should cancel the Manga or move it to a R18 fetish Magazine.

The Main Character finds himself with a new body. Buuut its a dogs body and he ends up being adobted. The show is ... about his new life as a pet and about all the sexualy charged adventuers he goes thrue. The Animation are lower industry standart. The music as well. The Voiceactors made a good performance, poor talents that have this show now in their resume. The characterdesings were bland and story not existing. The show has 12 episodes with a duration of 12 minutes including opening and ending. It has a censored and an uncensored version.

I read the manga. And now I've started watching this. If there is a thing that willl lead you to search for Jesus, then this is the thing, because otherwie you'll need to live the rest of your life with the awareness that someone thought that writing and distributing a manga about a girl getting wet for her dog was a good idea, and other people thought that funding an anime based on a manga about a girl getting wet for her dog was a good idea, and that through the entire process no one ever thought "What am I doing with my life?" or ... "What in the name of all thing holy or wicked are we doing?". It's like watching a car crash: you are utterly horrified, but can't help but watch. This will become the next gen Boku no Pico

My Life as Inukai-san's Dog is the type of anime that the ecchi industry needs with urgency.

Recently It has been unfortunate that only because anime is genre ecchi, the creators need to put more effort into developing the story (ex., Immoral Guild or Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World).

My Life as Inukai-san's Dog will introduce you to a well-developed story. The story starts with an exciting mystery, and each chapter will take you by the hand the solve the mystery.

I want to highlight my last statement: "Each chapter will take you by the hand the solve the mystery." It is incredible how you, ... as a spectator, will understand and resolve the puzzle of what occurs to our protagonist in each chapter.

Because an anime has fan service, many jerks lose their ability to follow a good story and only can focus on the boobs. The kind of people who didn't understand the story is the ones that understate this great anime.

Now, talking about the fan service, I want to highlight the good scenes here. Due to the original story, you will find ecchi scenes you have yet to see in other anime. An extraordinary, but overall, original erotism that the fans of the ecchi genre have been asking for during the last seasons.

If you enjoy ecchi or good short stories, you won't regret watching My Life as Inukai-san's Dog. Don't let the jerks that, due to fanservice, can't concentrate on understanding a story discourage you from enjoying this excellent anime.

Finally, please don't misunderstand me. I am not saying that the story of this anime deserves an Oscar. However, it is an anime with a well-developed narrative you will enjoy.

So I watched a reviewer on this anime, and they had a very strong opinion on it, so I thought I'd give this anime a watch. Even though they basically said not to without saying it lol.

For starts the story is pretty simple. MC gets turned into a dog. Girl that he has a crush on finds him, and adopts him. MC, as a dog, gets to third base with his crush and some other girls. All in the effort to find a way to become human again.

Though this anime is an example of good quality doesn't mean it's great. Like the quality was ... really good for the anime, though I think the main reason it doesn't get love is the girls are basically getting off on dogs. Man's best friend more like Woman's best tool lol. Though let's leave that part out. As a standard ecchi anime it's alright. And alright does not mean good. I've seen some ecchi anime, and the ones I enjoy most are ones that can use it for comedic purposes or has a good story. Not to say the story isn't good here, but it's very simple.

Now would I recommend watching this? If you're a curious watcher go for it. The worse it gets is girls getting off on dogs licking them. I was thinking it was like full on fourth base with dogs, but it's not thankfully. At least Man's best friend still retain some dignity. Though it still doesn't give them justice lol. But all in all watch at your own risk

I only watched this garbage with my SO as a joke, and it somehow managed to surpass our expectations for how garbage it'd be. To summarize, this is basically just... white girls in Japan: the anime. To give you a better idea of the sort of content on display here, it's like Tejina-Senpai, but for pet play. If you're coming into this expecting a serious portrayal of getting isekai'd as a dog, then I'm sorry, you'll be sorely mistaken - but I'm sure you already knew that, if you watched the trailers.

The art and animation is the only part of this 'series' that could even ... remotely be considered high quality. Almost the entire show is composed of fanservice shots, and when it isn't showing fanservice shots, the plot is attempting to contrive excuses for fanservice shots to show up in the first place. The angles of the characters are sometimes mismatched with the backgrounds, so they seemed to have focused entirely on trying to make the characters themselves look 'hot', rather than having any sort of consistency or quality.

The VAs seem to constantly hamming it up and over-acting, to the point where it doesn't make sense in-universe. Inukai-san'll go from completely normal to giggling exuberantly over nothing, or panting for air out of nowhere. It's genuinely unnerving at times, and unintentionally hilarious at others, but I'll admit it does add some entertainment value for how ridiculous and over-the-top it is.

Unless the trailers get you excited and you're in the market for a weird fetish anime, don't even bother. Seriously...

no..... just no. 2L of bleach is by far not enough to wipe this shit from my memory. How is it possible to make something that is worse than Redo of Healer. Even Satan would be humbled by the shitshow that is this show. I know finally what is at the abyss in Made in Abyss, its this show and other anime like Redo of Healer and Eromanga Sensei.
Why do the Japanese people waste so much money on this, when the could spend that money on producing a good anime. Well... its at least better than all those shitty isekai´s.

This one is the fine exemple of a poor excuse for a anime and it does not even trying to be a thing, it's just a copy-pasted version of Dog & Scissors with juvenile jokes, while we watch uncomfortable close-ups of a girl doing "something with his Akita-turned classmate. Describing My Life as Inukai-san's Dog is like stepping on a Lego block when you are walking through your bedroom and you know exactly what you just stepped into before receiving amputation. The only good part of the series is.. i admire the animation, even through the characters look like Assassination Classroom rejects, but this is ... just a minor quality. Combine that with characters that are flatter than a slice of bacon, story that doesn't fit into 2023 standards and voice acting that has all the emotional investment of Jar Jar Binks's Japanese brother.

In conclusion, My Life as Inukai-san's Dog is just BAD and i think the series could be better if it was released eight or ten years prior where these concept of a guy being turned into a dog was normal.
