Tottoko Hamtarou

The daily life and adventures of a pet. Hamtaro is aimed even more towards kids, as the anime gives these animals more personification than the animals of Sweet Home. 

Both have cute characters who work on solving problems. 

Both revolve around the adventures of a brown-haired elementary schooler's pets while she is at school, and have an orange hamster-like pet, a shy girl character who wears a bow and a playhouse where the pets live in. 

Both anime are about animals that go about their lives while humans aren't around. 

Both anime about cute pets who go on adventures together and solve their own mysteries and problems all while returning back to their humans by the end of the day. The difference is the hamsters of hamtaro stay hamsters where as in Tama they are mostly pictured as human cat/dog forms in each other’s eyes while remaining normal cats and dogs to real humans  

Similarity - Human is not a main character Difference - In Hamtarou, hamster is in the form of pet unlike Shirokuma cafe that they able to speak with human straight away Which one is better? Shirokuma cafe

They're both cartoons for children about cute animals. 

Both have to deal with super cute animals. 

Both are about pets that have adventures when they're owners aren't looking. They are both very lighthearted and child-friendly! :D
