Buta no Liver wa Kanetsu Shiro

I never thought that an anime would drop in episode 9 very close to the end. But it doesn't work anymore. The premise is cool and yes, in a certain way innovative, but it reaches a point where there are only doubts and more doubts regarding the story, and the drama of the poor heroine starts to become duller with each episode, showing that this series is going to be really long in terms of seasons and full of uncertainties.
The only positive point I took from this anime was understanding that I have matured to the point of understanding that time is something precious and ... we should only follow what we really like.

It panty shots a girl who can't be any older than 12, the pig has a kink for abuse and wants her to "punish" him. She can understand everything he thinks all because of a slave collar, she's dressed as a maid and constantly points out how much she turns him on. He goes on and on about every detail of her maid outfit. This anime is nothing but red flags. Stay as far away from it as you possibly can. I only dealt with more than 1 episode to leave a ... Review warning you. This anime is absolutely disgusting. The pig intentionally says things that are a kink of his that she tells him not to say just to try and get punished.

A guy is isekaied as a pig in a pigsty, saved by a nice looking slave girl who is on her way to sacrifice herself but nobody knows why and nobody forces her, he will use his poor intellectual skills to try to help her sacrifice herself but he doesnt know why she does and don't even bother knowing.

That show is the quintessence of fast food animes, one episode to try to hook you then a poor drop of the plot distilled in each episode to try to maintain your interest until the fall.
The art is basic and became worse after every episode, common to ... these kind of anime.

I felt that plot could have been interesting and so I watched carefully until episode 4, I found that ep 2 3 and 4 were not interesting and full of nonsense. And then I spent less than 5min per episode skipping most of the useless parts until I got to episode 11 where I thought that finally something noticeable would happen. You can easily jump from ep 1 to ep 11 without regret.

I usually like fan service but I found it disgusting here because of the girl's slave condition and reactions, I felt sorry for her that she could only rely on that useless isekaied guy who abuse of her position and her resignation.

The conclusion revelations are pathetic so it's 1/10 for me.

Initially I was interested in the first story being wrapped in mystery, and the magic system that uses crystal stones.However, after following all the episodes until waiting for the last episode which made me wait 1 month.My enjoyment turned into laziness with stiff animations when fighting enemies, drama stories that talked too much that annoyed me.And, the last episode where almost the entire animation is an image slideshow. I'm the type of person who likes to like all anime, but if the story point is just chat and stiff animation which makes me lazy to continue watching, sometimes I want to just finish watching it. ... However, the interesting point that made me stay, this anime does not export its perverted parts, although in the story there are scenes of explicit content regarding taboo and adult matters. Anime is still safe to watch, and the story is interesting. So, if you want to watch it, don't be lulled by the first episodes, because when your expectations are high at the start of watching this anime, you will disappointed with the ending.

This was horrible, and I hated every minute of it. Gritty, crude, edgy, repulsive in some parts, dramatic, pointless, and dark.
The few combat scenes are clumsy and make no sense (but I blame that on the low production value), and there are lots of plot holes (like that about the black ristas and their use conditions... you'll see what I mean.) Did I already mention it was dark? Way darker than what you'd expect from an isekai with the MC reincarnating as a pig.
I'll quickly recap the premise: a society with a class of all-female slaves with no human rights whatsoever, and whose bones ... and organs sell for a high price. At some point, when they're 16, they're left on their own devices and told to cross the country alone to reach the royal capital, passing through woods and towns teeming with lowlifes and bandits eager to kidnap, [redacted], and kill them for sellable parts. You're free to guess where this is going. Oh, and the MC is a pig.

The MC is hella weak for the standard of isekais. He's just a pig with a human mind, nothing more, nothing less, and he gotta make do with his witts if he wants his protegé to survive the journey. As the FMC is constantly in danger of being taken and quite literally sold piece by piece after days of torture, the stakes are high, and the show doesn't shy away from its premises by making the MC suddenly OP. No - he's a pig and stays a pig all the way through. Every bad encounter, even with the lowest mob guy - merely cannon fodder to the average isekai Kirito - here is a life or death situation. You can sometimes feel the despair of the FMC & co. as they jump from one tragedy to the other.

Would I recommend it? No, I wouldn't. I'll be blunt: don't watch it - you have no reason to.
I watched it, so I have no choice now: I can't un-watch it, can I? And since I did, I find myself compelled to give it a score, but you're still in time to avoid this trainwreck.

Still, why 10 if I hated it so much? Well... it was also wholesome at times, compelling, and relatively surprising. It kept me glued (for better or worse) and had some touching moments, dialogues, and scenes that *abundantly justified the score.* The dynamic between the FMC and the MC feels believable - they feel like real people establishing a relationship under the worst circumstances. Moreso, I actually *cared* about the characters (more than anything else in the anime), and that's something rare for modern isekais. Indeed, I believe the author would do much better if he just changed the genre. If he abandoned the idea of writing overly complex fantasy worlds nobody cares about and the isekai genre as a whole, and instead wrote a realistic drama focusing on the characters, I'm sure he'd dish out some very valid works.

Tldr - the 10 is mainly for the characters.

Butareba -The Story of a Man Who Turned into a Pig- is about another Japanese otaku pervert turning into something other than human. This time they’re isekai’d into the body of a pig and subjects the first telepathic maid he meets to telepathic sexual harassment.

If you've kept up with anime discourse you’ll have seen this show receiving praise for “innovation” or its “interesting premise”. However, Butareba -The Story of a Man Who Turned into a Pig- is the same isekai skeleton with a new gimmick plastered over it. However, unlike say, Reincarnated as a Sword which was a good anime and fun ... to watch or that one about the reincarnated vending machine which had a more interesting premise but was mid at best, the premise of a man turning into a pig doesn't save Butareba from being just straight-up boring.

Honestly, it’s hard to say anything about this show. It’s a hamster wheel of the otaku pig thinking inappropriate thoughts about Jess the slave and the victim. He must clarify the difference between his thoughts and innermost thoughts to her and which ones to ignore whenever she brings up his crassness. It was a funny fourth-wall-break the first time, but by episode three it had worn out its welcome. Whenever the show tries another joke like, the pig pretending to dance DDR for the entertainment of randoms, the bit goes on for so long that it starts as funny, then awkward, then annoying, and somehow circles back to being funny again… somehow.

The show has some good points. The art and animation are nice and the presentation is overall good. Shockingly for a trashy isekai, there are no levelling systems or overpowered skills that ascend the pig into godhood. Even magic seems to be heavily restricted to little crystals which mostly serve as batteries. The only other magic seems to be Jess’ telepathy, an ability shared by her race of people called Yethma. Hell, there’s not even a “tHe HeRo” or “ThE dEmOn LoRd” in sight. You’ve gotta give credit where credit is due, even if it’s because an isekai showed some restraint by not giving its world video game mechanics.

Unfortunately, there’s not much else to say about Butareba -The Story of a Man Who Turned into a Pig- because it’s such a “nothing” anime. The first paragraph of this review is the beginning and the end of its entire existence. That said, according to the trailer this show is apparently supposed to be “A Lovey-Dovey Isekai Fantasy” so there’s a good chance the story goes into… soft-core beastiality territory… Personally, I’ve had enough shows like Inukai-san's Dog for one lifetime.
