Interest StacksTitles from the Mazinger Z series, either being sequels to the original anime or remakes/ reboots of it Anime dubbed in italian which aren't marked as so on the database (as far as I know), if you know of other like these, tell me and I'll add them Every cinema or direct to video anime film that came out between 1970 and 1979. A list of anime from the 1970s that featured the trope of superheroic mecha defending the world from greater evils. This list includes those anime films distributed on VHS, DVD and Blu-Ray in Mexico. Currently, due to the death of the home format in Mexico, they are all discontinued editions, but they are collectible pieces for every Mexican anime fan. Mazinger is a mecha franchise created by Go Nagai. Credited as the creator of the super robot subgenre, the original series follows Koji Kabuto protecting the earth from the mechanical beasts sent by Baron Ashura and Doctor Hell using the invincible robot created by his grandfather, the Mazinger Z. Since then, the franchise has cemented itself as one of the most influential anime of all times, with many series spawning from it.
