Koisuru Asteroid

Looking for a show about a group of kids getting heavily invested in some sort of nature/outdoors related activity? These two will work just fine. They go into great details about what it's like to actually be involved in their respective activities (astronomy and camping), particularly what it's like to be a complete amateur at them but enjoy them nonetheless. They are cozy, cute, enjoyable, and give off very similar vibes. Yuru Camp definitely has the edge when it comes to beautiful scenery, but the art in Asteroid shouldn't be dismissed just because it's simpler. Relax on! 

Manga Time Kirara adapted CGDCT anime's with a timid and experienced MC encountering a happy-go-lucky MC learning about said interests in their show's focuses. Aside from Koisuru Shouwakusei focusing on astrology (and geology) and Slow Loop focusing on fishing, the two also focus on the bonds between characters, especially with the two most main MC's. They have their fluffy wholesome moments as well as some serious ones regarding plot and for the purpose of strengthening character bonds but are rather educational as well to watch. 

CGDCT Manga Time Kirara anime adaptations of school girls with a passion for outer space with a goal in striving for something related to it, Koisuru Asteroid to do with finding a completely new star so that they can name it whereas Hoshikuzu Telepath to do with building a rocket to fly into outer space. Despite the cute moe fluffiness to them, they do have their rather deep moments as well. 

Although for different reasons, both feature the 2 main characters attempting to revive and keep alive a defunct astronomy club. Both series feature a significant amount of technical jargon related to astronomy. And, of course, the main characters in both become romantically involved with each other, though it's more nuanced and platonic in Koisuru Asteroid.

Cgdct school clubs. Asteroid in Love and Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater are anime which follow cgdct at their respective clubs. Asteroid in Love features Mira and her companions at the Earth Sciences Club, with Breakwater featuring Hina and her companions at the Breakwater Club. Both are wholesome, heartwarming anime with a little bit of learning you can do as the anime progresses. 

Stargazing! You wouldn't have guessed how such a simple hobby turned into some of the most interesting things anime could embellish upon. Though Nearest and Farthest Star is basically concept animation, KoiAster is a TV anime. This works more as a KoiAster --> Nearest and Farthest Star rec but you can do you. 

Both story is about space, stars, and school girls The main characters are have some similar personality 

The story feels similar: abandon club got reunite for certain reason appear as a motive. Club part always had its momentums. But, all of this show, prove me how School club got involved so much on these show rather than its usual academic normal activity, such as study, or else. Not mentioning any other partion separate from this section, tho. But, my point with both of these was: Cute girls doing cute things on her favourite clubs activity.  

Both mc's have a goal they are striving to achieve, motivated by a promise they made to someone in their past.

What i must say here just for this connection: MC was a cute girl - she new in the school, but really want to enterring club - involved to other cute girl - get wet in to clubs problem - reassembling that club - doin CGDCT typical activity - end - or get circle as a SoL school normal life with that club activity. Note there: club somehow same as a extraculicar branch of study or rather get a same name referring the non-academic activity the school had.  read more 

Stargazing. Road to You and KoiAster both feature a story around stargazing and the different life bonds that connect to such a simple task. Whether it is a family promise, or a childhood friend blooming from such, both are pretty good watches. Road to You does with once in its collection of ads compared to the TV anime based on the matter, however. 

They have exactly the same vibe. Cute girls doing wathever your scholar clubs do... Both comes from a 4-koma Kirara's manga, so the humor style is the same. The only difference is that KoiAsu focuses on a intelectual theme, and Anima Yell focuses on a sport. (Bonus: Sakurai and Hanawa/Kana are almost the same character, Kohane is like Mira, Uki is like Suzuya, Hizume looks like Ao...) 

If you enjoyed one and want something else that's cute and lighthearted, you are probably safe picking the other. They both have a balance of comedy and calmness. Non Non Biyori is much less "focused" on a specific activity (unless you count general red-necking as an activity) and more about the day to day mood of the rural town. Asteroid focuses more on specific activities (namely astronomy and geology). They both share the same cozy vibes one might expect from this kind of show.  

Obviously both are about school clubs, one being a light music club and the other being an astronomy/geology club. Asteroid focuses more on the actual club activities, K-On!! does a lot more goofing around, but both convey the moods of their clubs well. If you want something easy to watch that's fun and enjoyable, both are good. 

Both animes are about friends who like stars. In Sora no Manimani - a girl and a boy, in Koisuru Asteroid - two girls. They meet at school after several years of separation and join the astronomical club. There they are going to fulfill their dreams. 

Having watched quite an amount of SoL animes, I found that Koisuru Asteroid has a lot of elements that resemble the Tamayura series. Tamayura is a long original series while Koisuru Asteroid is a 12-episode anime adapted from the manga. Tamayura delves deeper into each individual character and is a much slower anime compared to Koisuru Asteroid. Both animes emphasize on the theme of "to each his own". They feature characters that have different interests but somehow able to form relationships through events and encounters; Thus, making them more diverse than most school anime. In Koisuru Asteroid, it has subjects on astronomy, earth science, tabloid and bakery while Tamayura has photography, theatre, cooking and exploration. Both animes feature going to new places to discover new things. Koisuru Asteroid often has club activities that require the characters to visit exhibitions in different prefectures. In Tamayura, characters venture out to discover new points of interest. Both animes emphasize on the coming-of-age period faced by students. Some of the characters are lost in lives and have no idea what they really wanted to pursue after graduation. Both animes emphasize on the theme of "life goes on" and didn't shy away from topics on separation and new encounters. Seniors will eventually have to graduate while new freshmen will arrive. read more

These anime are the same in many ways: - They each have a main cast of cute female students. - Both are about the relationship growth between the girls. - Both are very wholesome and show the the girls going on mini-adventures together. - Both MCs are very energetic and kind. Also, the person the MC cares about the most is somewhat shy and self-conscious about their communication skills. - The girls of each anime are connected through one particular area of interest: * Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka? through their interest of coffee/tea * Koisuru Asteroid through their interest of astronomy/geology 

Watching these koisuru asteroid reminds me alot about yuyushiki, they shared some similiarity like both of these animes are school club based with an unique kind of club (astronomies and computing input). Same kind daily school and slice of life type of story. Also they have same kind twin tailed characters.
