After... The Animation

In a nutshell (a real one this time):

- Superficial attempt at high school drama
- Unsatisfying sex scenes (forget the story)
- Animation and character designs were average
= Not recommended

The uncondensed version (if you have the patience to read it):

I didn’t see it with English subs, but this is what I got…

Starts out in a high school, where a female student with classroom sweeping duties gets informed her brother is in the nurse’s office. Meanwhile, nurse gets it on with said brother and they have brief, uncomplicated sex. He (Takashi-kun?) wakes up, his younger sister arrives, and after getting over her initial worry, they both leave to go to some kind of club meeting. They arrive and interrupt a couple making out, Takashi-kun gets momentarily jealous, and then two other students arrive and the meeting begins.

In the next scene, younger sister is masturbating in her bedroom to thoughts of oniichan (no surprise there). Oniichan himself walks into her room and catches her in the act (again, no surprise). She confesses her feelings and wants to do the nasty with him, but oniichan can’t because she’s his sister. Younger sister takes it into her own hands and instigates a kiss…and runs off leaving oniichan (and myself) surprised. (I was positive that nature was about to take its course here.)

Younger sister runs into fellow classmate (and club member) in the park. And the viewer is probably thinking, “Ok, sex scene for sure.” Nothing happens. Except a sudden gust of red flower petals (Tuxedo Mask style) sweeps in and introduces the next scene, where all club members are at the beach having a grand ‘ol time.

But uh oh, what’s this? Takashi-kun gets pulled aside by the cute nerd, who tells him she may be pregnant. You know, from that one time when they had way too much sodas and pop rock candy…? Flashback commences. The next sex scene has finally arrived, and the two are at some random hotel with clothes strewn about the room…having brief, uncomplicated sex. That’s shown in very brief flashes. Shorter than you can say “Kentucky.”

Back to the present, and the cute nerd admits that it might not be his baby but…*dun dun dun*…his rival’s! Now Takashi-kun can’t have that and immediately puts the moves on her (a.k.a. marks his territory), and the two proceed to do it doggy-style behind a convenient giant boulder.

And here comes a recycled scene, not even of sex, but of younger sister about to spike a beachball in midair.

Next scene: night time rolls around and the gang’s at some Japanese festival wearing kimonos. Takashi-kun makes a point to pay special attention to the nerdy girl, inciting jealousy from the girl he’s supposedly romantically interested in. A confession follows between Takashi-kun and his romantic interest, with the former doing the confessing (though it makes more sense if it was the latter). But apparently he played his cards right because they go to a secluded area to have straightforward, uncomplicated sex, but to its credit, it turns out to last a little longer than its predecessors.

Takashi-kun meets up with the others and finds out younger sister is missing. Search party is sent out and he arrives in time to prevent her from getting raped by some thug. When Takashi-kun retreats to his room that evening, he gets an email containing video segments of none other than his sweet innocent sister getting gangbanged, and he proceeds to shout at the computer screen.

O-kay.

Did I miss something?

Apparently so, because scene transitions to nerd girl waiting outside Takashi-kun’s residence, coming to visit him, but sees Takashi-kun’s new f*ck buddy–I mean, new lover– leaving his house after receive a chaste goodnight kiss. Nerd girl runs off before she can be seen, but Takashi-kun runs into her later when he decides to go for a stroll in the rain.

END.

Geez, what a cliffhanger…

I mentioned it already in fewer words, but again, the attempt at drama was pathetic and incredibly superficial. Sex was blah. The whole thing was blah really. Don’t let the advertised poster fool you. This title was not satisfying in the least.

I did see a short trailer for episode 2, however, which actually looks a little more promising than this one turned out. I’m not planning to continue After…The Animation, so if you’re not deterred by any of this (or if you actually like this series), I’d say check it out, and, if you’re up to it, review it. I’d be interested to know if it does in fact improve.

For those that watch to Fap. Go ahead. Fap value is high. I don't watch to fap though. I watch for story, this really wasn't my story. Very unrealistic.. If this was realistic id become a hikikomori and never go to school in fear of being butt-raped every second.
Seriously. every minute there's a sex scene. Here's the layout for each episode:
1 min of useless things that lead up to sex
5 min of sex or more.
then another minute, which is basically a scene transition, and it repeats this cycle.
Now, they TRY to put a story line in it but... I didn't see it. Its like when ... a person lifts their skirt up and asks you how their new hairstyle looks. You're looking at the skirt, not the hair. When they don't have sex for a MINUTE and try to have a storyline, you're too busy whining over that they stopped doing it to even give a damn. The sex scenes are all this show has going for it, and that's not much, as even that is unrealistic to an extent.
I would give it a 1, but I only give that to pure shit. Like, it has nothing going for it. This does have something to at least watch, but that thing is very poor. I stand firm with giving it a 2.

I've been going down the lists, getting my hands on any and all hentai I can find and this one stood out.
It wasn't the plot, no certainly not the plot. I watched without subs but what I got was he went to his horny teacher, they get it on and then while they're rubbing their bodies together he's getting advice on how to deal with his love of his sister(or her love for him) which was laughable.
The hotness is very high, I like plot but when you get this hot there are other things that push that out of the way. The characters, ... Nagisa and a white haired boy were actually pretty cute together, I aww'd at them which normally doesn't happen in hentai. It was weird, he was fncking every girl in site and so was everyone else but something about it seemed deceptively sincere in it all. He's horny but he also cares for these girls.

After… The Animation is a high school drama between a group of friends where everything revolves around sex. So, somewhat like real high school I guess. A girl is in love with her brother, there’s two love triangles, and secrets abound. And someone fucks a teacher. It’s got all the teen high school drama tropes.

The animation quality veers into somewhat hilariously… awkward, notably in the first episode, but remains consistently serviceable during most of it, especially in sex scenes, so they knew where their efforts should be focused. The second episode is significantly better in both animation and direction.

Aesthetically pleasing, with nice character designs, a ... nice colour palette, and uncensored, which is always a plus with hentai.

It’s Degrassi: The Hentai, I think. I never watched Degrassi, but it’s the most generic high school drama I can think of. “What are you going to do after graduation” is the question, and the source of the title. The characters are trying to sort themselves out, along with all the dramas of their interpersonal relationships as graduation lingers.

It’s vanilla, with no fetish scenes so enduring that you’d write home about them. There’s an outdoors scene I guess, a character who’s doing porn and apparently into ‘rape play’.

It’s a fairly generic hentai, although I did fine it enjoyable seeing characters in a teen drama actually fuck on screen. Step it up, Degrassi. If something average with fun generic teen school drama is up your valley, check it out.

Cover art- You see three girls in a entanglement. To me that says yuri approaching. Sorry fellas it was on a selling tactic that's all. You might think harem but then again even that is not true.

art- you could say was fickle. let's do this. too long and unpleasant let's try a different scene from a different out look. Also, this anime does a lot of parts for the sex scenes. For me that ruins it. It makes me think the resolution was too small.
