This is a collection of long story anime which I've been watched. Most of it have a nice storyline and have a long journey where the MC becomes stronger.

These are animes that have main characters that have both black hair and red eyes, this also includes characters that turns their eyes red.

Anime which are infamous for their filler, whether it be dragging out certain events, making up something completely inconsequential or even just lazy clip show episodes that recap the story.
Anime adaptations like the original FMA or Hellsing which completely diverged from the source material after catching up will not be on here, nor will Anime originals like Pokemon, nor will recap specials.

With the recent release of Dead Dead Denmons Dededede Destruction films getting a ona release Ive been noticing more recently that there have been a rise of movies getting a televised version after there release. To be on the list the tv/ona version needs to have some differences from its film version (even if the only difference is just that they added it an intro at the beginning and/or outro at the end of the series version) which why Im not adding the The Garden of Sinners tv version since as far Im aware the tv version is just the same as the movie version.
