AXZ and Arc-V are very similar in tone: they place priority on entertainment and wild aesthetics. Simultaneously both darker and odder than the previous installments of the franchises, the two shows present a wide variety of characters and are always trying to outdo themselves: every episode must be more flashy, more extreme. The both have the same director and MC have alot in common.

Both of these are cyberpunk shows that heavily feature aspects of the the magical girl genre. They have predominately female casts that are part of organizations to fight off monsters. These girls transform into cyberpunk and mecha influenced forms that give them the ability to fight off these threats.

A unique magical girl anime with plenty of action and character drama.

Awesome, over-the-top action and using the power of friendship and belief to do the impossible.

If you like Nanoha there is a very good chance you would like Symphogear, as well. Both of these shows take inspiration from the Mecha and Magical Girl genres with heavy focus on action and characters. Both also have Nana Mizuki star in a main role ( Fate in Nanoha and Tsubasa in Symphogear) and sing the opening themes. Of course, as tradition for this type of anime, they are both very gay.

Similar themes of the power of friendship and love. Lots of action and gayness.
