Tekusuke Monogatari was clearly made on an extremely shoe string budget. From periodically repeating character movements, to the lower frame rate and the use of shifting backgrounds to emphasize the illusion of movement, Mitsuyo Seo pulled out all stops to bring this rather simple bandit vs protector story to life.
As with most of the films from this period, the archival process has failed to preserve these animated works in a form suitable for general consumption.
