Both shows have a single lead character(Trigun = Male, Genadier = Female) who ,while supremely skilled, is not totally invincible. The worlds also are in a similar state with interesting variations such mountain pass where the wind is so strong it keeps dead bodies flying around in a perpetual swirl. Also in both shows interesting and powerful boss characters show up to channelge the hero and their unlikely allies with both placing a small but focused dedication towards comedy. A++
Both series have a gunslinger who is a pacificst and don't like fighting, and both of the protagonist are blond hair as well, and both the protagonist have almost unparrell gunslinging abilities well, only a slight few differences is there a little more fanservice then Trigun, but still join Rushina Tendo as she travels to find the path of making peace without killing
I think Trigun is way better then Grenadier. But, here's how I find both animes similar to each other. Rushana is the female version of Vash the Stampede and the story is almost the same. But both of them are different in some ways.
Grenadier is more or less "If Vash were a woman..."(or Trigun is "If Rushuna were a man..."). Basically both series are about peaceful protagonists on the journey, who avoid violence, fight only when they must and try not to kill their opponents. Also fights are similar in both series (revolvers, canons, pistols, dudes with robotic armor, main characters' extraordinary bullet evading skills). The main difference between the series is that Grenadier is more light-hearted, while Trigun has a touch of drama. Also Grenadier has an element of ecchi absent in Trigun.
Both focus on a female traveler who is skilled with a gun but would rather not use it. Kino no Tabi is more philosophical and episodic, while Grenadier is ecchi action/adventure with an overarching plotline. Both have some comedic moments.
* Both has most disliked thing in MAL - Fanservice!!!!
* Female MC's are badass af when needed ( invincibility mode?? )
* Action...Action....and more action in every episode!!!
* Grenadier is more simplistic show....(MC always wins no matter what) unliked HOTD, MC's are fucked up in that Zombieland...they're never safe from anything...
* Recommending only for normal/casual viewers.....( not for douchebag elitist/troll/hater pricks )
'Grenadier' and the 'Queen's Blade' series both offer busty female leads in a loose action/adventure story plot. 'Grenadier' is has a more story to ecchi ratio, while 'Queen's Blade' has a more ecchi to story ratio.
Both take place during a time as guns were replacing swords, and Samurai are no longer needed. Neither Kenshin, nor Rushyuna want to kill their opponents and disable the enemies with their superiour skill.
Both are light-hearted "girls with guns" anime. They have similar art style and a lot of action with ecchi humor. Although settings are quite different - near future in "Burn-up" and medieval in "Grenadier".
Both involves chicks who can kick ass and with big boobs, BOINK! BOINK!
Both shares the same shojo, action and ecchi genres, BOINK! BOINK!
Both main chicks has a side kick who joins them in thier journey, BOINK! BOINK!
MH has an extra martial arts, samurai, yuri and history genre, While Grenadier has adventure and comedy as its extra genre.
In Grenadier the chick has 2 side kicks, one is a man and one is a kid, while MH only has her loyal aide as her sidekick.
When it comes to being seen naked, the main chick in MH is very much reluctant unless it's lady and if she's ever seen naked it is always accidentaly, while in Grenadier, the main chick has no hesitation to be seen naked wheather accidental or not.
The feamle sidekick in MH has hots for the main chick and would often grope her breast whenever the main chick least expect it, while in Grenadier, the guy (side kick) would avoid getting close to the main chick, the kid (side kick) since it is a girl prefers to be close to the latter (main chick).
