MC enters a game to save a girl. Characters can travel back and forth between the game world and the real world. World settings are clouded in mystery at first and require some suspension of disbelief. Gin no Guardian focuses more on action; while Duan Nao focuses more on mind games.

Both have a survival game theme. While in Duan Nao the MC apparently enters and exits a game world, the MCs in Uncharted Walker are trapped on a deadly island. They must use both physical strength and intelligence in order to survive. Mind games among team members are involved. Both have plot twists about the world settings as the stories progress.

It's like a mix of the Hunger Games and Death Note, incredibly suspenseful and HIGHLY recommended.

Both have tightly written plot full of twists and turns. Both stories begin with a supernatural event. Both have individual arcs that are linked together, leading up to the revelation of a larger mystery. MC are intelligent and observant.

Both involve a survival game that is fairly digital and involves real life money. Darwins Game and Duan Nao also can mess with the memories of people so they cannot remember the people or the game.

Nazotokine and Duan Nao are both anime about people being repeatedly transported to a puzzle universe where they must solve puzzles to escape.

Both shows are Hunger Games-esque series, where people from different walks of lives (with different sets of skills and talent) are pit against one another in order to win this mysterious game that they are a part of. Both shows have their fair share of action and mystery solving, and the last few episodes in both bring forward a twist that nobody could have possibly seen coming. The biggest difference between the two is that Duan's MC is OP, while Mirai's MC is totally useless. Warning: The MAL synopsis of Duan Nao gives away massive spoilers. I had reported that to the Mods, but ofc they  read more

Both shows contain psychological themes, requiring people to win games to survive, and plot twists at every corner.
