Yume-iro Pâtissière addpermalink

Yumeiro Patissiere and Bonjour Koiaji Patissiere are two anime series with the same themes. A girl with a passion for sweets is admitted to a school with many people skilled at baking. However, while Ichigo and Sayuri show different characteristics at first, their talents are of the same caliber. Upon entering the special school, they both meet prince-like guys who help them adapt to their new circumstances, and there is an obvious hint of romance. Overall, Bonjour feels like a shorter but enjoyable version of Yumeiro. They both give off the same feeling and are captivating from the moment they begin.

Both series revolve around food, specifically baked good and sweets. While both have a reverse harem cloaking theme, Bonjour focuses on the romance aspect more while Yumeiro focuses on the struggles of building character and skill. Each series is light-hearted, colourful, and appealing to the eyes [and stomach].

Both story are very alike, for one they follow a girl who goes to an elite school to reach her dream of opening her very own pastry shop and becoming a patisserie. The girl are surrounded by 4 guys in both anime as well! 
Enough said.

Main characters are both a young girl and attend a patisserie school.They're also both surrounded by 4 good-looking guys with specialist fields within the art of dessert-making. So, there are many connections to be made between the two.

Only difference is,

Yumeiro Patissiere's Episodes are 20+ Mins each whereas
Bonjour Koiaji Patisserie Episodes are only 5-6 Mins each

Cooking. Sweets. Hot guys. Romance. You can find these in both shows although Yumeiro Patisserie is quite longer in terms of episodes and content.

Haruka Nanami and Haruno Sayuri attend a prestigious school. One is for becoming idol/composer while the other a patisserie (baking) She meets bishes who fall in love with her. Whiether it be her music or cooking/baking. Also they meet their first friend who is always there for them.  The principle/headmaster has their eye on her.  Manly   she has potential and such. Both anime has a strict rule of being in a relationship with said bishie. Both series is a reverse harem. One is full length and the other a five minute series.

Both protagonists enroll into a cooking school (Patisserie is focused more on bread and pastries though) and aspire to be the very best. Shokugeki is focused primarily on cooking and food while Patisserie has elements of reversed harem and romance.

Two reverse harem anime with very short episodes. (Up to five minutes) 

There isn't a lot of boys (3 in Room Mate and 4 in Bonjour) but they all have different personalities. 

Sometimes a little bit cringy, but in a good way.

Both anime are basically full of bishounens, so girls don't hold your instincts anymore!
Funny and colorful, they both share some care-free theme, that you can enjoy anytime. Maybe even can cheer you up?
Really cute and colorful male characters and tons of jokes.

Sayuri to Fleurir Confectionary Academy and Haruhi to Ouran Academy.
