Nobunaga Concerto

As said by many already, this anime was the hidden gem of the season. While, as it seems, the art style was a big reason for many to not watch it, I found it quite fresh and that was certainly one of the biggest selling points for me. In fact, I only started watching this anime because of how the cover seemed out of place amongst so many animes looking the same.
That being enough deviation from the main subject, the take on the storytelling is brilliant - no cliches, no harems, no love triangles, it's all about Oda Nobunaga and his quest to unite all ... of Japan. The sound is absolutely amazing too (listening to the ED as I write this), making you cry at times - from sadness and happiness alike. Character development is subtle yet clear, you might even end up cheering for the once-disgusting guy. As I said already, the animation is exquisite, with even the minimal details being paid attention to. Unlike what I've seen in other reviews, I enjoyed the season finale the most. It's really emotional and a reflection of all the changes every character went through.
In conclusion, it's something I can easily recommend to anyone, because I know anyone anywhere can enjoy it.

It is truly an underrated anime this year even though the story were told impressively and was written amazingly. The art, yes, it was the very reason of why people including me wanted to just drop the series or even delete it from our anime list. Anyhow, i gave it a try and i'm very glad to the core of my heart that i've decided to watch the anime. Okay, enough talking and let's go to the point on why you need to watch this anime!

Story - 10
I can see that many people was so bored of this Nobunaga stuff ... but please, make this exceptional. Yes, the synopsis speaks the truth but don't bother about it because i know you guys might gonna think that it was rather cliched when the fact that this is about time slip but just no, ignore it. Nevertheless, it shows no plot holes even though it skips some minor thing that happens throughout the Japanese history but meh. The ending though, might left you unsatisfied and wanted more, you'll see what i meant if you watch it. Anyway, the flow of the story is just really amazing.

Art - 7
Guys, don't be mistake that it is not the animation that is poor, rather the character designs. Yeah, the character seemed stiff at certain angles and it might be the only flaw that appears in the whole series but else, how the background were drawn is simply beautiful but i won't say it was drawn with details. They colored everything in the anime harmonically that leaves you in awe for awhile. To put it simply, the character designs are just fair while the background is outstanding.

Sound - 9
I have no trouble with the soundtrack as it really suit the best for the series. The soundtrack really manage to pull the mood really well to the point where i wanted to just cry at a certain event. Unfortunately, there's no opening for the anime and fortunately, the ending is so epic that you would want to repeat it over and over again. And little did we know that the narrator is the famous Oguri Shun from Crow Zero drama. As for the voice acting, well, it's great how all of the voice actress put their all for the series especially Saburo's, i don't know you guys but i have a feeling that it's the same voice actress as the blue haired french dude in TG...

Character - 9
I find that all the character were loveable and some are carefree like Saburo and her sister, Oichi. Well, that is if you exclude a certain someone but other than that, nope, i really find it hard to hate the character throughout the series. There's not really much of character development for Saburo but at least he has the charm to make people don't care about it and of course it works on me too. There's not much character development in here because anyone who learned Japanese history will surely know what is what. So i have no complain for the characters.

Enjoyment - 10
I don't know what the director do but miraculously they never did bored me, the series that is. Every single scene are worth watching because it is so, so, so amazing. I have mixed feelings and emotion watching it. Some episodes are carefree and some are serious and again, they never ever did bore the hell out of me and i really did enjoyed watching every episode of it. The series may lack of actions but that won't be an obstacle. All of it worth all the praises.

I so wanna put the whole score as 10 but if i were to reconsider it, the art, as i said was the only flaw of this series and for i who really is picky about art (character designs) can only say that, well, it's a so-so. But eventually, you'll get use to its arts and you won't see it as a bother anymore. So, to sum it all, watch and you'll enjoy it unmistakeably,undoubtedly and certainly.

Actually this is my first review and i do appreciate that you've took your time to read it. I recommend this series to all and i hope that someday this series will get more attention because it should.

Nobunaga Concerto, this anime is probably the most underrated anime this season, perhaps even this year. The reason why? The art. I'll be honest, I am one of those shallow people who judge the book by its cover, or in this case, one who judges anime by the art. If it wasn't for the suggestion of a friend, I wouldn't probably watch it, much less read the synopsis. I told him that I do not like the art, but he kept on insisting that I watch it, so I did, just to keep him off my back, and, oh god, I am so glad I ... watched it. The story was great, the sounds were amazing, the characters were fun and lovable, and somehow, the art fitted in. Like in One Piece, the art was, well, not so good, but it fits in well with the quirky characters and mood. Well, since this isn't a One Piece review, I'll go back to talking about Nobunaga Concerto.

Story - 9

From reading the synopsis, I thought that it's gonna be another Oda Nobuna no Yabou, which I think was a funny anime, but Nobunaga Concerto isn't just funny, there is also drama, where I cried a few times. Not bawling, just a few tears. What happened in this anime was more realistic, well, except, maybe, the time travel part. And no harems. Not gonna give any spoilers, so just take my word.

Art - 6

I repeat, the art was awful, but it was tolerable because it got carried by other elements such as the story, sounds, and characters. Now that I finished all 10 episodes, I'll be honest again, I still don't like the art. My overall score for an anime is 30% art, which is probably why Nobunaga Concerto will never get more than an 8 from me since I think that anime is a visual medium and if I just want a good story, I'll read a book. Well, usually, animes with poor art can never get a score above 7 from me, but I repeat, this section got carried, and it got carried hard.

Sound - 10

The sound is was remarkable, the OST creates the mood, not fits in, creates. And don't get me started on the ED, simply put, it is sound porn. There was no OP but the ED, "Fukagyaku Replace (不可逆リプレイス)" by MY FIRST STORY, was the best ED I ever heard this season! It was, how do you say it? AH. MAY. ZING. I downloaded it and is now on my playlist, 5 times. (People from the government, please don't arrest me!)

Character - 9

Ahh~ the characters~ This is hard, I'll try not to spoil. The characters were lovable and because of the art, no one really looked the same, except the two main protagonists, so it's easy to tell who is who. The character development in this series is good, however, if I were to write a review for all characters, it would take too long, so I'll just focus on the MC. The MC, Saburou, was funny, carefree, and contrary to the beginning, he is kinda smart, maybe not book smart, but street smart. If he were drawn with a different art style, maybe I would have dedicated a folder full of his pictures just to show how much I love him, sadly, he isn't. (*sobs) The other characters, to summarize, have their own charms, and it's easy to love them, like I said, their development was good.

Now the voice acting. Since this is my first review, I don't know if this goes in the sound or character section so I'll just put it in a separate paragraph. I think the seiyuus completely captured their characters' character. I think that sounded weird, but you get what I mean, I hope. It felt like the characters were really alive, like they really have those kinds of personalities. I especially love Saburou's voice, I don't know why, but I just love that voice.

Enjoyment - 9

I enjoyed this series greatly. Great story, amazing sounds, and fun and lovable characters. The art was not that bad I guess. Nah, I still don't like it. Anyway, this series is worth the watch, if you don't like the art, give it 1 or 2 episodes, and if you still can't stand it, then it's your lost.

Nobunaga Concerto - truly an epic blast which deserves more attention.

Nobunaga Concerto is a forgotten anime. When people read the words "Nobunaga" they are generally put off from even touching this anime due to the endless amounts of disappointing and predictable anime which have tarnished the name. However, even if you do manage to give this anime a chance, you will be frustrated by the unique looking art. Some may say the art is absolutely horrible but I beg to differ - it begins to grow on you and it is but a minor blemish to this epic series.

First off, Nobunaga Concerto is an Adventure ... anime with a twist - you follow the life of Saburo and his attempt to live the life of the legendary Japanese warlord, Oda Nobunaga. That being said - it can hardly be classified as an action anime, as there is very little action and the main appeal to this anime are the characters.

Story

The story is beautifully simple with elements of romance, loyalty and friendship. Nobunaga Concerto has a character driven story line as we follow the main protagonist, Saburo. Throughout the 10 episodes we see how Saburo evolves as a character and is obviously the most relatable due to the fact that he is from modern day time.

Pros:
-Each episode adds value to the progression of the story and helps give Saburo and the supporting characters more depth. This gives the watcher more emotional impact - we share the joy and sadness of Saburo, making this anime an "emotional rollercoaster" (sorry, i know it's cliche)
-As stated before the story line is quite simple. There is a decent amount of plot twists but none of them will have you saying "what the f*ck was that?" or "hooooly sh*****it that was so unexpected". This may be seen as a downside but it plays it safe and it works beautifully.
-Gripping - every episode pulls you into the world even more (start marathoning it now XD)
-Clever alterations to the actual history which are very quirky and act like easter eggs for the people who know some of the basic history of the Sengoku Period

Cons:
-Nobunaga Concerto has a very compelling story, nevertheless that does not mean it is perfect.
-Due to this anime being a short 10 episodes, there is no explanation of the time slip which resulted in Saburo entering the Sengoku era.
-the anime ending is a read the manga type ending and the manga is not even translated to English - so you can't really read the manga after. However, this should not discourage you from the anime as the ride from episode 1-10 was truly amazing. The ending does not tie everything in a knot, but it doesn't leave you on a gigantic cliff hanger. It is better than most anime endings, despite ending in a rushed state.

Art

Personally i did not mind the art too much, especially because i managed to watch Kingdom - a fantastic series both anime and manga. However, if you certainly detest the CGI art you need to endure about 2-4 episodes before it begins to grow on you. If you are planing to marathon it, it will certainly grow on you a lot quicker.
The story and the sound will make you forget about the art fairly quickly. I highly recommend that you give this anime 3 episodes before you make the decision to drop - the art is just a minor blemish.

Sound

I find sound one of the most important qualities in an Anime. A perfectly placed track at the exact time can amplify the experience so much more. The sound in this anime is amazing. It is a masterpiece. The soundtrack accompanied with the story makes this anime very entertaining and occasionally gives you chills. The beautiful sound of the Japanese flute playing whilst Saburo rides out to war - wow, it seriously is an epic moment.

Character

Not much to say here - Nobunaga Concerto is peppered with great characters. Honor, loyalty, humor , friendship , romance - the characters allow this anime to have such an enticing appeal.

Enjoyment

It is a thoroughly griping anime that is very underrated and definitely worth a shot. It is an anime which deserves more attention so hopefully they can make a sequel, but i doubt it. I would not say it is on par with titles like Steins;gate, but it is still a very well made anime which can leave you entertained for a while and hungry for a sequel - that is if you can get past the art.

INTRO: Nobunaga concerto is one of those animes that doesn't get noticed by the general public, mainly for its hard to get used to artstyle and its history centric plotline. The way the story is framed is very odd, it has such an anime kind of buildup in the first episode and then has it be a history piece for the rest of the episodes.


ARTSTYLE: While the main problem everyone I've noticed had with it was the artstyle, I personally found it amazing, enthralling, like ping pong the animation. It's not the average artstyle, it's not too weird, it can still ... be identified as an anime at first glance, it still has cool expressions on the characters and didn't draw me away from the story.


BACKGROUNDS AND ANIMATION: The backgrounds are also particularly beautiful in the way they are done, it makes you feel as if you are in the warring states period of Japan. The character animation/motion is also very well done, everything feels real, the way the characters move feels nice and realistic and immerses you into the story.


STORY & PLOT: The story and plot was very well done, it was a history anime that instead of following the history perfectly so that it would get boring if you knew the history it was adapting it instead opted to change a few things but still make it identifiable, it changes the locations of some battles, it changes the way some things happen and a few other stuff but still makes you think "Yep, this is warring states Japan". The story was extremely well done, there was some problems though, not enough to destroy the anime, but enough to bring it down slightly, most of the problems are kind of spoilers so I won't include them, but when you see them you'll think "mmm, that doesn't seem like it works in the overall story". Its still a great story, if not for some minor flaws.


CHARACTERS: The characters were kind of an interesting thing, most of the time when I watch an anime there's at least one character I dislike. In nobunaga concerto I didn't find anyone I didn't like, even the person I assumed was gonna be a stuck up ass ended up being a great character, all the characters were well done yet not overly fitting into stereotypes.


SOUND & MUSIC: I usually pay special attention to the music of an anime, the music played ( or not played ) can make or break a scene, it's a lot more important than most people give it credit for. I'm happy to say that nobunaga concerto has amazing well fitted music pieces that both fit the story and can be listened to when not watching the anime, the ending song also is very well done and I find myself listening to it a lot.


ENJOYMENT: I enjoyed this anime a lot. Guess thats it.


OVERALL: Great anime with great story, amazing art, fantastic sound & music, fluid animation, beautiful backgrounds, interesting and dynamic characters that makes for an enthralling amazing series.

To be honest, I almost dropped that show after the first episode. Why? I guess most of you who at least watched the first episode, or maybe have seen a trailer or two will know why: The animation. A lot of people will say now that „art and animation aren't everything that make a good show“, and sure you're absolutely right. Actually, I think so too. However, at first glance the animation as well as art of Nobunaga Concerto were a valid reason for me to almost drop it, since I didn't think I could stand it for 10 episodes. ... Well, I'm glad I didn't, since this turned out to be a freaking amazing show. To cut a long story short, here is my review.

Story: The story focuses, who would've guessed it, on good old Oda Nobunaga. However, it's not the usual Sengoku Period story line: This story isn't about the real Nobunaga, but a time travelling high school student named Saburou, who just happens to look like the real Nobunaga. The actual Nobunaga is a sickly young man whoi doesn't think he can be of any use to his family, so he asks Saburou to take his place. Finding himself in the time of the warring states trying to conquer Japan, Saburo has to face quite a few obstacles of becoming a real commander. 
At first, I thought the story is going to be kinda weird, especially in it's execution. You know, time travel stories tend to be rather comical or they focus way too much on explaining things no one really cares about. And well, at first, I found it a bit hard to believe and even a bit lame. Saburou doesn't seem to have any problems with being in a time period way different from his own. It seemed really unauthentic. But that changed from episode 4 onwards. The story really manages to suck you in and keeps your attention, notably with Saburou's decisions and actions no one really foresees. Also, historical events are depicted believable. It's really enjoyable to see Saburo's interaction with the other characters, especially due to the fact that he doesn't really tries to fit into the time period, like offering the other characters some instant noodles. This isn't just a funny and entertaining story, but a dramatical one as well. It's a very solid mix of these both elements, and thus the show is offering some very good entertainment. 

Art/Animation: As mentioned above, the animation, and to some extent the art-style were my biggest problems, especially in the first episodes. Don't get me wrong: the character design and backgrounds, as well as colour design were amazing and pleasing to look at. The problem was that the art itself didn't really fit together with the animations. It's difficult to say, but the animations were somehow fluid, but stiff as well. Especially the characters expressions always looked the same, there were just minor differences when they changed their facial expression. So it was really hard to depict emotions, since none of them looked believable in any way. I must say though, that it got better towards the end. I'm not sure if it was because it really got better or if I just got used to it. It is a very unique style however, which really makes it stand out. 

Sound: The soundtrack is really good. You have one main theme which you will hear quite often, but it almost fits to any mood. Other tracks are also present of course, and as well as the main theme, they really make the atmosphere. It does not have a real opening, but an amazing ending theme song (not only by sound, but also by visuals). The voice acting really managed to make up for the lack of facial expression. Especially Saburou/Nobunaga was just amazing. I really liked the other performances as well. 

Character: The characters were all designed amazingly well. Everyone had their own unique style and their motives and actions were convincing, so nothing really felt out of place. Sometimes I thought there was some development missing, like there could have been more screen time for some characters, but still, they were all pretty likeable. Their character traits also fit in very well with the time period, so none of them felt misplaced (you might say Saburou did, but well, he's from another time, so). The interactions between them were very entertaining to watch as well. 

Enjoyment: After I just accepted the art-style and clunky animations, I really, really enjoyed this show. Even though it doesn't depict every historical event 100% correctly (which is something I'd never expect from any show to begin with), it still gives a very good overview on certain events revolving Nobunaga in the Sengoku Era. It's very entertaining to watch Saburou/Nobunaga conquer Japan with his cluelessness. If you like historical animes that don't include demons, lasers or whatever you should definitely watch this. 

Overall: Nobunaga Concerto was really one of the biggest surprises to me this year. It's a very charming show, which only flaws are it's art-style and animation, and maybe the fact it only has 10 episodes. I really, really enjoyed this show, and I guess you will too if you're into historical anime that deal with Japanese history in a rather believable matter. If you're having too much of a problem with the art, try not to think of it too much. As I said, you won't mind it after a few episodes. All in all, Nobunaga Concerto is a very descent show, with a well executed story and believable characters, that sadly gets overlooked way too often because of it's rather unique combination of art and animation.

This is a masterpiece among historical animes, I really enjoyed myself watching this series. The story does somewhat accurately follow the historical being in reality in a nice manner, the music in this is also beautiful.

All the characters developed outstandingly well to their environment and to all that has happened. But every character stayed faithful to their introduction from the beginning.

My overall Enjoyment for this anime was more than I expected and I will give it a 9 overall if it wasn't for the unique animation style they had.
Please try it out without judging it by its animation style, it is quite ... unique!

Anyways,, here is my update for this very very UNDER-RATED series.

This is a Sengoku era inspired series. At first, i dont really plan to watch this because of the way the art is drawn and animation is not really good.
But watching the episode 1 will gives you the thrill to watch the next one. You might have ... to watch at least 3 episode until you realize how good the direction of this series is. While it proves that not ALL masterpiece need a Masterpiece studio and animation quality.

Actually, the animation style will give you a great vibes that match this series as a whole.

There are tons of Nobunaga series, you may notice that every season there is one or two. Mangaka and Storymaker gets the Idea from Japan History, yes the REAL Oda Nobunaga which is a legendary Samurai who unites Japan.

This series follow the real story of sengoku period, so the scenes are predictable. But being predictable will make you want to watch and ask yourself "how could this be done?".

Of course if you live in Japan probably you will hear that name a lot because of the HISTORY subject in school. Then what is the important in Knowing the history? yes that is the question our protagonist ask himself not knowing that one day he will need that knowledge about History!

This series is one of those "TIME TRAVEL" series, the main protagonist one day fall into the school building and then instead of dying he fall into a different time period, yes the Sengoku Period. I guess that when a person got into an accident in their time period (the present) they will sent back to past instead of dying. That is my theory because while being nobunaga, he meet different people who are also from the future and sent in the past. This theory is supported greatly by the final episode where Nobunaga meet another time traveler.

And the most surprising part is he really looks like Oda nobunaga and then coz of the circumstances He needs to be Nobunaga himself and lead the nobunaga clan to conquer Japan!. Funny is that the real Nobunaga becomes his right hand (I wont mention the name, but you will be surprised assuming you know about Nobunaga stories).

That is where the title was from, the Concerto of two Nobunaga.

Characters are not much to remember because you might be familiar with those names if you watch other Nobunaga series, and you may hate some characters too for being annoying and ugly facial expressions..

Sound is pretty good, and what is the most amazing part of this show? When the ED plays... YOU CANT POSSIBLY SKIP THAT!!! the song is superb and really mixed well with the animation! REAL EPIC! you will probably remember the Epic OP song of Arpeggio of Blue Steel because they were both performed by "MY FIRST STORY"

This story might get a sequel if we were lucky, but I hope so. The story is not yet finished, one day they might have to go back in the present.

And there is a HINT in the last episode,,... it says "has just begun!"

Absolutely insane how underrated this is. I understand the art style isn't for everyone but if you're one of the few people who value story and characters more than visual, this is a must watch.
Absolutely awestruck by how beautiful this was.

The story is not too rushed nor too long to be bored of. Hits the mark right on spot in between.

The characters have excellent development and you actually start to care about them very quickly.

The sound direction was incredible, there wasn't a moment in between when it felt bland. The ED was beautiful and really brought out the emotions after every episode.

I'd say ... it's definitely worth a watch.

Giving this show straight 10s in all aspects. In all honesty,stories based on historical facts need to be made in this manner. And I strongly wish more of such stories are produced in the future too.

Story: This show is based on the life of Oda Nobunaga and you all can guess from the title. The first thing that caught my attention when I started watching this show was how much close to historical facts this show was. Though the story starts with a guy accidentally time traveling to the Sengoku (Warring States) period, everything from that point on is purely about happening in the past ... and not some wired mix of modern times with that era and such. The story telling is very focused, showing Saburo's growth into the legend that is Nobunaga in Japanese history. All war tactics are very interestingly showcased.

Art: I'm not sure why the animators decided for a CGI animation for this show. The movements of the characters feels a bit weird but please don't give up just because of this. The story will catch your attention despite the sub-par animation. Background art is minimal but blends in well with the atmosphere of the story. The way most characters are drawn in the original manga resembles painting of the olden times and adds positively to the impact of the story telling.

Sound: Have you heard the OST of this show yet? No? Then go listen to it now!! It is EPIC!!! When I was finally able to listen to the main theme background music "Nobunaga Concerto -how-" after desperately searching for the OST for a long time, tears just started falling. Each background theme is brilliantly made and fits the atmosphere perfectly. It's a amazing blend of some traditional Japanese instruments with violins and piano. All voice actors have done an awesome job of bringing each and every character, main or supporting, to life.

Character: All characters are historical figures, so all already have a huge presence in each episode. But what is the highlight in their character building is their interactions with each other. This might seem obvious, but since this show is based on history, one has to be very careful when writing the dialogues, as one has to be creative in how each one would have been conversing with the other in those times, given their personalities and positions. There aren't any dialogues which stab you right in the heart (like they might do when watching Fate series) , but their actions do.------> spoilers ------- I was especially moved to see the scene were Nobunaga (Saburo) bids farewell to his educator Hirate Masahide or when Nobunaga tries to reach Saito Dousan to fight alongside him but is unable to. <------------

Enjoyment and Overall: Overall, a brilliant show which deserves a season 2 10000%. The story of this show might be too romanticized/ idealized as generally also happened with most stories based on historical facts but still it is well worth watching and re watching many many times. The story in the anime is incomplete and hence the concerto of the two protagonists isn't fully realized. But fortunately this story also got a drama adaptation in which the story is completely shown and with again very nice character development. So I;d recommend this anime as well as that drama for a good dose of history.

The Kind of anime you watch when you've watched every anime on the planet.

Are you after something new? refreshing? devoid of the stagnant/poorly-written/typical romance and angsty protagonist tropes? Nobunaga is exactly what you're after!

Its a story about an easy-going high school student, Saburo who slips through time all the way back to the Warring State Period of Feudal Japan. Mistaken for Nobunaga, Saburo finds himself as the new head of the Oda Clan fighting wars, sieging castles and going on romantic dates.

Saburo is a lovable goof who's constantly in his own world. He's calm, collected and takes on his new responsibilities with a good ... heart and humour.

The characters are good, the plot is interesting, the pacing is perfect, the animation cringey only at first and the endings + music never cease to get you hyped.

I feel like this anime is 7/8 for most viewers because the majority of people want an exciting plot with an outstanding protagonist, intense feels, some crazy talent/super power (piano-prodigy/titan-shifting abilities/ice-skating perfection) and insane animation. Nobunaga meets maybe..1.5/5 of those.

The entire anime is pretty low-key but amazing because Saburo really drives the plot forward and brings the best out of everything. Its the kind of anime you watch when you've watched every single anime on the planet and need a refresher. It's definitely worth a watch. Gets my 10/10

Looking back at this show in 2020, it's still amazing.

It's a real judge the book by its cover with this anime, because the animation may be an incentive for some to drop it, but it really shouldn't be dropped just because of it. Nobunaga Concerto, in my opinion, is an amazing hidden gem, because of the excellent story telling, the quirky jokes they make from time to time, and of course, the absolutely well done ED theme. It's definitely highly recommended to watch this, especially when you feel lost with all the endless new shows flooding you.

An overall 10, just because of how unique and ... interesting this show is.

I am a bit of a history nerd. It is a shame that anime based on history that are somewhat accurate are far and few between. This is one of those rare gems. The attention to detail and historical accuracy is incredbile. The small details such as Nobunaga not wearing a hakama early on the series is a direct reference to Ota Gyuichi's account on Nobunaga's early life. As well as the addition of Yasuke as a character was a pleasant surprise.

This anime desperately needs a second season as the story is incomplete. I am very curious to see how they will depict the ... Nobunaga's death and some Nobunaga's later wars such as his war against Ishiyama Honganji and the Takeda at the Battle of Nagashino.

This anime blends the court politics and themes of the sengoku jidai in a highly entertaing fashion. My only criticism would be that it does not delve enough into the battle strategies and actual fighting enough. If it did, in a style similar to Kingdom, it would be a perfect 10.

I don't understand why this Anime isn't popular.
I just found it and finished it today and I really love it!

At first, I was like, "Okay another time travel", I thought it will be like Thermae Romae but I enjoyed this way more. The animation is a little unusual from the other Animes but hell yeah I got indulged from the first episode till the last. The characters are well made especially the main protagonist, he is so entertaining actually each of them has their own appeal. Every episode is so enjoyable, no boring moments and the OST is on fire!

I saw the Live-Action adaptation series ... and movie and I might say it is great. Shun Oguri is a great actor and he portrayed it really well however Kentaro Ito resembles Subaro more hehe. The first time I saw Subaro, I thought of Kentaro Ito. It might've been really cool if he portrays it too

I hope there will be a season 2 T_T.

I came to this anime looking for historical plot, and i dont regret it , is really good, the only odd thing is the art, because it is not the one we are used to see, but the story is so good, and it complement itself very well.

So if you are looking for an anime serie that addresses Japanese History from an awkard high school student time traveler point of view, this is for you.

This serie has: time traveler (and MC that is not the only one who is a time travel), a role reversal political plot , historical characters (even ... a Yazuke ), and I repeat the art is kind of odd but beautiful at the same time.

I hope they do a 2nd season to see all the development of the Nobunaga era.
