Two modern 'sequels' that aren't supposed to be sequels of older franchises. Anyone who enjoys the foggy, dreamlike atmosphere of Gridman might find something similar in Jeeg, where the fog is a little thicker. Expect kaiju fights and oldschool hotblooded action.  

Extremely good and underwatched mecha anime. Pilot is awesome and his powerful mecha is the focus. The pilot's mecha smash up everything. 

Really amazing and badass mecha anime. New style anime with badass mecha designs. Great soundtrack. Same aggression. The power is strong.  

Remake/tribute to another Go Nagai favorite, that's a bit more faithful to the manga. Expect lots of violent rape. 

Since Jeeg appeared in Robot Girls Z, like with my Shin Mazinger and Getter Robo Armageddon recommendations, this is a more modern remake with its own continuity. It's often confused to be a sequel. It's actually not. 

Yet ANOTHER remake of a Go Nagai favorite. The General of the Underworld is bad. Mazinkaiser needs to beat him up. It's awesome.
