Gag anime series with a strange cast of characters with looking to solve mysteries and generally confuse everyone who runs into them with their ways.

Both are comedies based on gags and random situations. While Ai Mai Mi has mainly female characters, Strange+ has mainly male characters.

Both are comedies with hilarious and absolutly random moments.

both have about 5 min episode about a group of friends both incredibly funny both have new things happening to these group of people every episode

Extreme focus on comedy and situations that always lead to jokes. Both barely have a connection between their own events, if at all. While strange takes randomness to a whole new level, Seitokai likes to keep itself together. Well, at least sometimes.

These two anime have many similarities: genre (comedy/slice of life), producers (Seven/Dream Creation), a weird sence of humor and a short duration of 3 minutes.

Short and funny comedy. Abrupt and random jokes guiding the development with a very alike drawing and humor style. Lots of old cultural references.

Both shows are essentially situational comedies that are largely episodic in nature. The episodes are extremely short (which means you can binge watch them in one go), and if you enjoy jokes where you don't have to think too much to laugh, then you're gonna enjoy both these shows.

"Cat Soup Theatre" / "Nekojiru Gekijou Jirujiru Original" and "Strange+" are both comedic shorts series with lots of gags and jokes that often learns towards dark humour.

"Strange+" and "Vampire Holmes" are both shorts series of comedic gags that surround the incompetent protagonists who operate a detective agency.

both series have what kinda feels like a plot but they are just filled with extreme randomness

The same nonsense, we understand nothing, but that has the merit to be funny. Both follow no order in particular, most of the episodes are of no use. To see just for the funny and then the episodes of strange + owed only 3 minutes, it is the advantage

Both are gag anime with some scenes that are so random that they're funny.
