The Konnichiwa Festival is a Mexican distributor dedicated to distributing anime films, and sometimes Live Action, in theaters in Mexico and Latin America. It is a distributor that I really like and, whenever I have the opportunity, I take the time to go see the films that they distribute in theaters. Sometimes they dub their films into Latin Spanish, but most of the time they are shown with subtitles, unless they are very accessible films (Your Name, A Silent Voice, Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, Mirai). Shows/films that either brought a tear to my eye, taught me a valuable life lesson, or simply is a wholesome and healing piece of media which sincerely resonated with me. Most of these will destroy you emotionally so set a box of tissues aside and prepare yourself. Looking for movies to watch with friends? Or on your own? Arcade Media is a Mexican distributor that is mainly dedicated to distributing Asian content in Mexican cinemas, mainly in theaters and in the defunct AniFest streaming service. The distributed animes generally came with Spanish subtitles. Calling all anime fans! Some of it are pure dramas and some of it can be blended in other genres. Still, you need some box of tissues before watching these shows and films. Anime set in winter, or just with a lot of wintery things like snow and ice! I find these settings quite cosy to watch from a safe, warm place~ A compilation of anime that began airing during the month of March.
