The Konnichiwa Festival is a Mexican distributor dedicated to distributing anime films, and sometimes Live Action, in theaters in Mexico and Latin America. It is a distributor that I really like and, whenever I have the opportunity, I take the time to go see the films that they distribute in theaters. Sometimes they dub their films into Latin Spanish, but most of the time they are shown with subtitles, unless they are very accessible films (Your Name, A Silent Voice, Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, Mirai).

Shows/films that either brought a tear to my eye, taught me a valuable life lesson, or simply is a wholesome and healing piece of media which sincerely resonated with me. Most of these will destroy you emotionally so set a box of tissues aside and prepare yourself.

Arcade Media is a Mexican distributor that is mainly dedicated to distributing Asian content in Mexican cinemas, mainly in theaters and in the defunct AniFest streaming service. The distributed animes generally came with Spanish subtitles.

The only film that is unknown if it was dubbed or not, since it was announced but never released, Is "Rudolf to Ippaiattena".

Every moment,You will go through a river of emotions....Some may end up deeply touching your heart with a wholesome and satisfying ending....And some will shatter it by tragedies you never expected....I find this type anime that are always unexpected and has an emotional tone...Great OSTs,Arts and Choreography fill you up with colourful emotions that may end up being grey and pale.....

These are the featured films and series that will make you cry and worst, break your heart. Tearjerking dramas and slice of life that are worth to be watch. Some of it are pure dramas and some of it can be blended in other genres. Still, you need some box of tissues before watching these shows and films.

Anime set in winter, or just with a lot of wintery things like snow and ice! I find these settings quite cosy to watch from a safe, warm place~
Not all of the anime may be set in winter, but a distinct or prominent enough portion must be to qualify!

This collection of series, movies and shorts represent a specific mood, expressed within the anime media. Their pace is most likely slow, and are usually focused at the complex emotional web that surrounds the worlds and characters that are within them.

In each of them the feelings which are translated onto the viewer are those of comfort, but also anxiety, affection, as well as sorrow. The balance and the depth in which they are presented varies from show to show as well as from the personal perception and worldview that each viewer has. Their main unity point is that they tuck on our heartstrings and provokes our empathy towards the unwinding chaos and turmoil.

These selected series presents us relatable, even if based on fiction stories - which even within it's bleakness and darkness, holds a silver of hope and warmth or which conceals within their bright and vivid colors sublime, gentle, but ever present feelings of despair and sadness.
