...unless you have come here malding and trying to find something you can use to discredit my opinion. In that case let me save you the time and tell you that I don't need to justify my subjective ratings to anyone, especially not to mentally challenged weebs who overhype all the usual copy-pasted seasonal shounen shows as long as enough money is thrown at them to make the animation look good, refuse to acknowledge any factor in a story other than plot complexity, simp every single generic tsundere and fanboy every edgy male character with a god complex.
And then try to act like their taste is somehow superior while they're just hooked on fads.
The best ones are the basement writing expert wannabes who are such frauds they don't even realize that there are lots of different ways to write good stories and blindly evaluate everything only based on the writing habits they are fanboying, but keep trying to push their bullshit on others like it's some objective truth. Oh but sorry, I know, I know...everyone else's taste is just shit unless they're writing essays simping FMA:B, Death Note, Code Geass, Monogatari or fucking Gankutsuou KEKW
But I understand, life must be hard when you're edgy and cringe.
Besides chill, Japan taste >>> MAL weebs taste anyway :)
Anyway, I'm a laid back guy always up for a good discussion, unless you're one of those clowns described above.
I really enjoy character focused stories, so it's probably no surprise I'm very much into visual novels.

I heard some people say the same thing about knowing the game in the soulslike genre. And I agree with you about online games, when I was younger I played COD , it was really hard. Also I know exactly this feeling of boredom, but to me it happoened in FPS games. At this point I don't enjoy anymore playing COD or any other online FPS, cause it got boring. In your case you still play Sekiro and Bloodborne and enjoy them so it's alright.
Sekiro was on my steam whishlist but I never bought the game, if in the future I decide to give soulslike a try maybe I will choose him as the game, But as I said, I'm short on time to play games.
I don't know when, but I hope that I enjoy The Witcher when I play.
I also plan on some day playing The Witcher 3 when I have more time it looks like a fantastic game, People are really hyped with this nex-gen update, and is looking very good.
I can totally relate about the VNs, I start thinking a lot about it during the day (Usually I play them at night).

I've heard about Chaos;Head Noah, That's very nice, I want to play it. And the Type-moon VN I haven't heard about, looking at VNDB I saw that it is a Kinetic VN, so I probably won't be playing, but it will be nice if people buy and enjoy. If Tsukihime comes it's an instant buy I really want to play that one. The last VN that I've played was Hapymaher, I liked a lot the VN, the true route was so good, but after that I didn't touched any VN and it has been months already, now you got me hyped up for CH.
I had to lock up my profile and change my name on MAL, because some people where bothering me a lot, because they don't agree with my ratings and my opinions. There was a guy that come to my social media and started talking shit over there.
