| Good chapter today There were many comedic moments which I quite liked like the moment where Einar and Throfinn pray. There were also "uncomfortable" moments, such as the beating of the poor boy who only stole a bag of wheat. And moments of surprise by the story of Ketil Iron Fist According to the progress of the next chapter it will be quite good, I will wait patiently |

| Great episode, Ketil really is a great person, sadly surrounded by assholes. I saw the revelation at the end coming from a mile away tho, and I don't care, and I don't feel bad about Einar for this, Ketil is their lord after all, like it or not, they are slaves. |

| Of course Arnheid "works" as Ketil's concubine. Now I wonder if Einar at some point will consider buying her freedom instead of his... Quite the heavy episode, honestly. Ketil continues to be the most interesting character this season has offered so far but man is he having a rough time being surrounded by lunatics. Thorgil is practically Thorkell 2.0 but without the charm. Big respects to the boy, by the way. Hope this experience makes him stronger. |
| Whew. This is some top-level drama, it sure felt real for a few minutes. I really liked the cut-away to the deer just hangin' out, trippin' on the praying dudes, maybe chewing grass. It really gave me a sense of atmosphere for the scene. The animation is solid and the music's great The grinding brutality. Fucking slavery. The savage violence in relatively calm situations. What a cartoon, eh? |
| Big feels episode, ED was especially suited after watching this one, but really is for all of them anyway. "Without love" gives me chills every time. Fuck I love this shit. |
| well well she's more than just a slave, she's the master's mommy as well. must be nice being the iron fisted ketil. f for einar. even if she likes him, she can't do anything about it. she can pretty much blackmail him into freeing herself, einar and thorfinn and master would have no choice but to listen to her. that'd be very evil of her though haha. i mean if the word gets out then master's life is pretty much finished. thorfinn really might just be a overgrown child, it's nice to see he has einar with him :) |

| Absolutely loved this episode, this show is the best thing airing on television right now and it's not even a competition. Strangely enough, this show reminds me of television of old. This is cinema. |

| This episode was brutal this time around. While it was fun to see Einar getting excited from having a nice chat with Arnheid before he and Thorfinn went off to pray for their crops to grow like a pair of psychopaths, which made me laugh, the main talking point of the episode was dealing with the thieves, which turned out to be a brother and sister whose father has been missing for a long time and their mother is sick while looking after the youngest of the family. Put on trial and deciding on what punishment was needed took a while to be decided, but the end result was for the kids to work their debt off on the farm itself, but not before 10 beatings each, but the brother took it all in order to protect his sister from any harm. Still, seeing Thorgil going "easy" on the first hit was brutal, so I can't blame Ketil at all for feeling so ashamed of himself for having to punish the kids this way. He even fears his own son, Thorgil, and how menacingly strong he has become and resided all of his worries to Arnheid, as she's the only one where he can vent out without being labeled as a coward or a weakling. =( |
| arnheid is clearly going to be an issue in the future; she's into einar but is with "iron fist" and comforts him but clearly her face shows she's not happy with the situation. very dramatic episode. |

| Ketil is too good for his own good. The way he is, some of his people might take advantage of him. |
| 7.1/10, I liked that they beated those young criminals, I would liked even more if Ketil soft side wasn't show with inner dialogue but instead with small visual glimpses, it would give us more to think about. |
| Yikes, everybody wanting violence, but I guess that's to be expected with that era. Ketil wanting to just live peacefully, but can't knowing that there's always someone out there looking to pillage and kill for fun. |

| "Iron Fist Ketil", but really he is a soft, kind-hearted man inside. As an anime-only, however, I don't think his entire backstory of his iron fist was a lie. I think that he is a character with several layers, and that deep down there truly is an iron fist reigning within. |
