Week 08 Update Complete.

Got the MAL api up and running on my rig so don't have to open a million tags everytime so i'm very happy about that.

What i'm not happy about is this supposed mass ban which has heavily skewed the scores of almost all shows downwards, quite heavily in some cases and mostly affected the better performing shows. Only 3 shows saw a score rise, there were 3 stagnations and all other shows dropped. This means the likes of Girls Band Cry, Karasu Aruji, Kuroshitsuji, Shuumatsu Train, Tadaima Okaeri and Yoru no Kurage have all lost their perfect MSP scores in the same week, with The Fable now the last man standing ( :P )

A good look at the wall tables says it all, last week we had no negative scores on score change but it now dominates the table and every single show on the MAL score table has a red arrow at its end indicating it went down compared to last week, the bottom score last week was 7.54 but its now down to 7.44. I can keep going on and on but i'll spare you for now.

With MAL changing something in score calculation overnight (mass-blacklisting of fake accounts ?), we got wild swings in score for many shows this season. I expect many MSP streaks will be broken...

Week 07 Update Complete.

A big boost at the first time of asking for the new Demon Slayer, it did start lower than expected so perhaps making up for lost time. A switcheroo between the top 2 on score change as Girls Band Cry and Karasu Aruji trade places. Kenka Dougaku moved up several places as Sentai Daishikakku lost its perfect MSP and took a huge tumble.

Its as you were for MSP as the top shows remain very consistent with their score rises, Shuumatsu Train remains top by virtue of sample size by having an earlier airdate. Slime still languishing towards the bottom along with Spice and Wolf.

Demon Slayer's big move makes it our Anime of the Week.

Week 06 Update Complete.

Karasu Aruji and Girls Band Cry remain top of score change, the biggest mover this week was Shinigami Bocchan and Seiyuu Radio, My Hero Academia falls on the first attempt, Demon Slayer finally begins.

We still have quite a number of shows still retaining their perfect MSP scores, although Hibike Euphonium lost its', Shuumatsu Train still on top. MAL score is beginning to take shape with little movement but Yoru no Kurage still managed to go up several places while Slime Datta Ken lost a few places.

After having to share top spot last week, this week, Girls Band Cry outrightly takes the award for Anime of the Week award.

Weekly 05 Update Complete.

As expected Tadaima, Okaeri loses an earlier high score and drops a bit on score change allowing Karasu Aruji which has been on a roll for several weeks now to take a big lead at the top. Yoru no Kurage was the next show to actually improve on its 3 week score change. The MSP table is beginning to take shape with several shows still holding their perfect MSPs for now, Shuumatsu Train is still top but a plethora of shows are closely behind ready to capitalize on any slip ups.

My Hero Academia has finally started but only starts with a mid table score leaving Hibike Euphonium still on top, the table remains largely unchanged in terms of rankings, Kaijuu 8-gou the only show to improve on it, it and Yoru no Kurage remain the highest rated non sequel shows of the season. Its now 3 Weekly awards in a row for Karasu Aruji as it clinches it again, but this time it shares it with Girls Band Cry.

Week 04 Update Complete.

Same as last week, Karasu Aruji was the biggest mover and our anime of the week, outdoing its previous week's exploits and rising all to way to 2nd on score change. Tadaima Okaeri was able to keep top spot although it has slowed considerably. It was good weeks as well for Girls Band Cry, Loser Rangers and Shuumatsu Train.

The same shows are more or less top of MSP score as well along with Hibike Euphonium and Maou Dore Elf. Unfortunately, Slime Datta Ken, Spice and Wolf and Mushouku Tensei find themselves in the bottom half of these lists. MAL score table generally looks the same.
