Both anime are about the social aspects of playing online games, and feature romance and crossplay. Netoge no Yome is about schoolchildren, but Net-juu is about adults, so take of that what you will.

Both contain in game/IRL relationships

Both focus heavily on role playing games; and how Gender is often misinterpreted in said role playing games, but still leads to a romantic situation anyway.

Both involve romance in a MMORPG game world where the girl completely is off her trolley to hate the reality of life.

Both are stories about people playing an mmo online. In Net-Juu, both mc's use the opposite gender and start to fall in love with each other in the game. In Netoge no Yome, the male mc confesses to a girl in a game and she tells him that she is actually a boy in real life.

They are two animes in which the protagonist plays a game online and is a "NEET", in both animes the protagonist enters a Guild and interacts with her, in both appears a special person in which creates an additional climate, are not two great animes but are good to pass the time if you like animes about online games and a light romance.

These two anime's focus on the romance side of gaming as two characters try to balance out their relationship irl as well as their gaming lives. They both have hilarious comedy, interesting characters and some sweet moments to go with them.

Both series socializes via playing games. The story is similar to each other. They know each other in games as well as real life. The romance is pretty good as well as the comedy.

Net-juu is basically NetoYome but: - Club room - Married couple in game - Harem = Struggling in real life = MMORPG~Real life setting = That rich MMORPG casher character = Trying to recover RL from game + Reverse Harem + Character are adults + Character evolution

These anime shows the characters what they do in-game while playing MMORPGs in the point of view from the virtual game world and what they also do in real life. These also show the sides of their personalities of the real life and in-game world and their relationships to other characters between two worlds.

-both MC's are playing online games and meet their love interest inside the game. Personally, I like Net-juu more than this recommendation and the reason I recommended this is that this show was the first thing that came to my mind when I watched Net-juu's episode one.

both are stories around girls that are Neets or want to be Neets Both female mc had problems social anxiety to the point one gave up a promising career and the other barely goes to school and interacts with others. Both only seem to be happy functioning in the online in MMORPG. both deploy relationship with an online friend that the meet in IRL and awkward romance comedy ensues. difference Netoge is circle around highschool students and the MC reaction to meet her online husband is far different than Net-juu. Netoge is the lighter hearted of the two but still with the social anxiety and they way   read more

- protagonists play a mmorpg - romantic comedy ---> "And you thought there is never a girl online?" is with kids and "Recovery of an MMO Junkie" is with adults ;)

'The Recovery of an MMO Junkie' is a Rom-Com that has a similar concept of story with 'And you thought there is never a girl online?' where the main characters are engaged in a video game and they end up meeting up in the real world where romance will still develop. Both of them can be finished easily since they don't have sequels and they have 12-episodes to boot.

Disclaimer (Sorry, English is not my native language :D) Both Net-juu no Susume and Netoge no Yome wa Onnanoko ja Nai to Omotta? follow a similar style of development, but with some different aspects that make each work unique. Both anime often revolve around the theme of gaming. In Net-juu no Susume, the dynamic is a little more realistic and dramatic, offering a serious and engaging storyline. On the other hand, Netoge no Yome wa Onnanoko ja Nai to Omotta? presents a fun and relaxing story, which is light-hearted and easy to understand. Despite these differences, both anime explore the development of romance. In conclusion, both Net-juu   read more
