i just started reading Ajin: Demi-Human manga the other day, and i just can't help and think about Kei and Kai's friendship. I'm kinda seeing Hide of Tokyo Ghoul in Kai because well, he's so loyal to his friend, he accepted Kei and still treated him as human, he cares for him, and even put his life on the line for him. (HE REALLY IS HIDE ISN'T HE????? /sobs) I need more background story about them tho. Like when they were kids. What makes Kai treasure their friendship so much that he'll go to such length for a friend? I mean, i don't see why a normal friend will do so much, unless they have a deep connection. What happened in the past? What makes Kai so loyal to Kei? I know there must be a story behind it. I just know there is. And i need it to understand their relationship and as to why Kai is acting that way.

PS. Kei is such a twisted protag. I have no idea what's really running on his head. I know there's the time he said that Kai is the only person he will never betray (he just did though lol) BUT! DOES HE EVEN GENUINELY CARES FOR KAITO???? Is his feelings for him even real? Does Kei really considers him as a dear friend? Or was it all just a facade? I don't think Kei will ever grow in me. I just can't sympathize and connect with him... i know he's a depiction of what a real person in that kind of situation should be. But still, at least do care more even a little about others. I hope he can have a great character development in the future. I'll probably cry tears of joy if he does.

I just finished watching and reading Beelzebub and man, i just can't get enough of it! I still have so many questions about it! Like who is the demon Saotome made a contract with? Where was Saotome, Kunieda's grandpa and the Saint's Principal when Fuji started turning the townspeople into stone? I'm glad that they addressed Athrun's identity tho in the spin-off because well, i was really wondering who he is since he looked like an character who'll play an important role in the series. But overall, this series is really great! :)
