**Before you read this, I thought it would be important to mention that I'm female.**

Call me crazy, but after swallowing down Diabolik Lovers with significant difficulty at first, I have concluded that it's probably one of the most unique harem series I've ever seen.

~Story~
I mean, I know what you're probably thinking. Vampires? Harem? Bishounen with colorful hair? Not very original. But that's not what I mean. Many harem series have one guy or girl surrounded by 6 or more of the opposite sex. Generally they're all attracted to the main character to the point of insanity, but why? Nisekoi (Anime) add
While everyone likes to say that harems these days lack originality and are quickly getting stale, I think that Nisekoi is an exception. A lot of the elements in the anime are very comparable to things others have done before (such as the story), yet it's still an enjoyable watch.

Now, the premise for Bakuman is fairly simple: it's a humble artist who teams up with a classmate to write one of the greatest Shonen manga hits of all time, all while fighting the desire to meet with the girl he loves. Even with this fairly simple setup, this anime manages to not only be interesting, but also fun to watch ...

Mixed Feelings
Preliminary (Unknown/22 eps)
So maybe you're like me, and chose to watch this because the animation looks good, it's a new, ongoing anime, and heck, maybe you play an instrument or sing and were interested anyway. However interested I was at first, even with the outstanding music, at this point I can't even stomach this show. In my opinion, this show puts way too much of an emphasis on the entire drama of everything and kinda distracts from what I think is most important in a good show: an interesting story. Say you're not like me, and you enjoy all this whiny drama stuff. I'd say disregard everything ...
