School just started back up for me so replies will probably become quicker or slower...only time will tell XD

Just curious, but how do you think the 2011 anime is doing with all the wordy stuff from the manga? You know, when it comes to Nen itself or the thoughts of characters? So far, I think they explain things very well and it actually makes me comprehend the concepts a lot more. Unfortunately, there are times where I feel like they talk waay too much when it comes to something EXTREMELY important...I mean, don't get me wrong, I love details. I just don't like them all at once ^^; It's like cramming for an important exam at the last minute for me...

Anyway, I think I'll give that a shot then (the study-buddy thing). It'd be a nice change of pace.

Haha, I was surprised to see Leorio take on an important role during that arc! I also remember being shocked to see Kurapika after so long XD But yeah, I totally think that Leorio should get an arc that's dedicated to him or something. That'd be nice, especially since 3 of the 4 pretty much got one ^^;

Yep, if you read between the lines, you can tell that some fans actually feel that way :/ Eh, not much we can do except ignore.

Haha, lucky for you. Gotta wonder though, when will that issue be resolved? Ever? Never? I understand why people feel the need sometimes, but it feels so childish now. Especially when you can tell that there are some who still feel bitter about the whole argument. -__-

Yeah, it just occurred to me that SAO was essentially a romance story wrapped around the MMORPG concept. Pesonally, I'm a sucker for romances XD ...Maybe that's why SAO was alright by me XD

LOL that's interesting. Especially when you consider the fact that Clannad is more commonly known for it's tragic romance story than it's comedy XD

Hmm, I guess I should try finding a study buddy this time lol But a lot of my studying involves reading the textbook and that's when I get extremely distracted. I don't think having a study buddy while reading a textbook is very helpful but heck, who knows?

Haha, well at least you like Gon and Killua as well. It bothers me when there are Kurapika fans who complain about them being in the spotlight and then say that Hunter x Hunter is boring because of that. I don't blame them for feeling that way since York New practically made Kurapika an interesting and sympathetic character before he suddenly disappeared (lol) but still...I mean, do they really have to start disliking Hunter x Hunter just for that reason alone? -__-

To be honest, I was always curious of what it would be like to be in a heated argument with someone about Hunter x Hunter on the internet (or anything in general) ^_^; So I have to admit that at first, it was pretty exciting, especially since I felt like I was winning at one point (lol) but after a while, I got sick of it and I even got extremely upset about the whole thing. At that point, I realized that it's NOT fun and games and that people do get their feelings hurt by them (especially when someone is passionate about something). Sooo yeah, that was my experience. I can't say that it'll stop me from having arguments in the future though, especially if I desperately want my opinion out there and understood XD

Gah, but to think that people can return to that argument and read it is a little embarrassing. >///< Especially since I know I acted like an idiot at times (although sometimes it was totally on purpose)

FLCL is extremely bizarre and hard to follow if you don't understand that it is fundamentally/symbolically/literally about a boy's experience going through puberty. Then again, it's still bizarre even with all the meaning behind it lol. I rated it a 10 because it left a deep impression on me, even though I was a bit dazed and confused about all the symbolism and bizarre situations. I thought the animation was really impressive for it's time and it's quality made me think that I as watching a movie or something. I also thought it had a great mix of oddball comedy, drama, romance (kinda), sci-fi.......Seriously though, I felt weird watching it. I don't know how else to describe it but I guess in a way, it was like I was going through puberty with the main character and making it through the experience with him. When it was over, I felt like I accomplished or experienced something grand and phenomenal.

. . .And that's probably the best explanation about that anime that I can offer you lol. It's definitely an interesting experience...

LOL Based on what I've seen jumping in on my sister who's watched the whole thing, I'd say that the 1st half was fairly good, but the 2nd half was definitely weak. Overall though, it's fun to watch if you let yourself go. It reminds me of the days when I watched anime similar to SAO and thought it was sooo good XD But yeah, definitely up to personal opinion. I feel like SAO will remain more popular than Greed Island though because it really brought out the feeling of an RPG and gave people a good romance story...(yeah, I thought it was a pretty good romance story)

You're very lucky then! The fandom in my country is filled with wars. >_> But my fellow otaku are very tolerant and they don't mind what I'm watching. :) Though we do argue about which character is better. xD

Actually I also don't like mecha very much, it just so happens that I watch anime of this genre quite often. :P

I hate when it's cold, but I also hate hot weather. I'm the type that's most comfortable with spring and early autumn. :P

Being tall also has its merits. :D And I'm okay with my height, though I'd like to be a little bit taller. It'd be easier to find a boy shorter than me that way. xD

Yeah, the Spiders didn't get much closure (at all) but I thought it was fun seeing them again. I just wish they did more...The lack of Kurapika and Leorio didn't bother me that much since Kurapika shows up briefly during Greed Island. Plus, I actually like Gon and Killua more as characters so I'm good to go XD
