It is just another series where there is a super strong MC trying to hold himself because he may go berserk and destroy some things.
Action is pointless, most of the time you don't know why and what is happening, what is the logic behind that power up and what exactly is the power of our MC. things just happen because it has to.
Side characters are empty and soulless. Roxy for example, is one of the main characters and she talks just like a robot, she exists because our MC needs a love interest.
It may be a fun watch if you like reading statistics.

It certainly is better in quality than most of the series out there, but that being said; Joker Game is challenging to watch, for me at least.
I acknowledge that it is part of the "mystery", but storytelling is just confusing and often very hard to follow. Okay, some things are happening and agents find themselves in different scenarios, but you as the viewer, have no damn clue why and how is this agent doing that thing. This could be the "mystery" only if it was solvable by the viewer but when you do it intentionally so that everybody have no idea what is going on, ...

I enjoyed the previous seasons, but not this one. I believe the major reason wasn't that they made any bad decisions with the story, but it is the fact that they didn't change anything at all.
It could also be the result of abusing the shounen loop of "get beaten up, remember your friends, stand up, and beat your way out". This is Fairy Tail in a nutshell. You will see nothing more than that. So just before watching the final season; I sort of knew what I was going to see, but I still finished it just because I don't like to drop series and ... |
