when I 1st knew about the story from the following summary:
"Although a truly gifted hairstylist, Kiri Koshiba has no interest in using her talent to pursue fame and fortune, unlike the three popular boys in the "Scissors Project" at school. They give showy makeovers to handpicked girls, determined to become the best makeover team in Japan. As much as Kiri tries to shy away from the Scissors Project spotlight, she finds herself responding to beauty's call..."
the part of what interest me most was a gifted hairstylest girl who doesn't have interest of becoming hairstylist and other guys who wanted to be famous.
so I given a shot...
and I say as one of best manga shoujo I've read besides Fruits Basket and Hana Kimi.
Story:
for a shoujo manga, which usually shoujo manga has so much romance in with obvious hints, I'm suprised because in this one the romance is not the real focus, is a story where unfolds and flows with a different rythm than the usual shoujo manga.
the only problem is that te story development can be a bit slow.

Art:
I like the art a lot, clothes in special and perspectives, is not a masterpiece, to me is good, I like how it shows the emotions of the character.

Character:
to me is what this manga has best, the characters with their unique ways and personality, and so as their beliefs in development, they always have great development and how shows more of their personality while the story develops.
very entertaining characters XD.
one of good points, they are not those fancy characters in usual typical shoujos.

Enjoyment:
is sure big because I've re-read 2 times, and I found very enjoyfull, good comedy, it has good cool moments.

Overall:
I say is really good, too bad is not in anime.
has 10 volumes, enough to have 26 eps D:

I say is a very great manga. enjoyed a lot the manga.
the art gets better by each chapter.
the development in the romance is really good D:, the characters are unique XD, the comedy is really good XD. but there also the drama, is good and there good characters development.
really good one, I really advise you to read.

well, the manga is the best I've read so far, completed.
the development is very great, however not much development focus on the female character.
and the author to me give me a lot of enjoyment, is so funny, there always the drama, the spirit team always present, and so touching, exciting, can be even thrilling and I'm not a fan and usually don't like sports neither sports anime and manga, and this one, for some reason is special and so different.

since I start to know DNAngel from anime. I say it was very good, but something missed there, story development. but since I start to read the manga, I saw the big holes in the anime.
the problem of the animes they started way too soon when the manga was and is ongoing, I hate when this happens, they screw up the story, and don't fullfill it's purpose, is such a waste, when can be even better, could be almost awesome as the manga.
most of the episode are fillers. is very enjoyable the anime until you read the manga...
I love the art they did in the series is really well done, no complains there, the voice character well done,soundracts being good,make the characters move, that's the only good points and compensations in a anime when they screw up the story and character development based on a manga that is ongoing. read more

I first saw the anime, and then the manga, compared the manga to the anime, the manga is way by far much better.
the story is very rich, the mystery in the story is so deep and fascinating.
the art gets better by every chapter into a outstanding art, the eyes, the clothes the scene actions with the flowing of emotions of the characters, is just amazing,Yukiru Sugisaki is one of the greatest artists I ever seen.
characters, in development is just very good, personalities so unique in each way, and gets a better developmeng in every chapter.
I enjoy a lot the manga, because his mystery,story and characters, and the art being so amazing.

so yeah in general is brilliant from what I have read vol.20 stage 3, the most recent chapters from monthly Asuka magazine. read more
