Kagurabachi (Manga) add
Preliminary (32/? chp)
Kagurabachi, despite all the memes, in its own shell-- its own universe, serves as a good (although basic) story concept, with fun characters, interesting and pulling antagonists, and a nice set of funny and heartwarming side characters, and it's final ingredient- a nice good drop of yaoi. Great manga so far, I hope Hokazono gets even better at his craft, and puts more gay boys in his manga. I believe that Hokazono, with being the fact that he's only 23 is doing something unprecedented in the creation of this manga, without even taking part in it. Glory to the Kagurabachi nation, Glory to Chihiro, Glory ...

Emanon is a really intriguing story about life, and whatever the preconceived notion of 'Destiny' is meant to be. From a thematic standpoint, this series is absolutely beautiful, the characters feel real, and the art is amazing. However, it is obvious to anyone who's read this that it lacks in the sense of completion. Multiple story arcs are completely left behind, with it only being chocked up to, 'it will happen in the future'. The character writing is great, the atmosphere always feels refreshing, and there is so much to this world I want to learn. Why is Emanon the way she is, why did ...

Preliminary (71/? chp)
Spoiler
Wow man. This is a manga that genuinely changes lives. Every character makes me cry, every character can be related to by the reader. whether it be Shiori, Hatsunori, or actual real life Jimi Hendrix, every single one of them is emotionally charged and beautiful in their existence. This is nothing short of a beautiful manga about the passion of life, whether it be from Black Bus, Shiori Experience, Tpokz, or the 27 Club, I think everyone is absolutely representative of a real life human transported to a manga. I'm just yapping, but wow man. This is top 5 ever, and i've only read 71 ...

No.6 (Manga) add
Spoiler
Number 6 is something I had serious hope for but it just turned out to be garbage yaoi, repeated the same scene 7 times in the first four volumes until some actual plot progression begins, you don't feel anything for the people of west block and shion is about as interesting as wonder bread, with nezumi being the whole wheat. The plot actually progressing in the end is somewhat fun, but it gets overshadowed by the shitty character of safu, and the random plot dump of elyurias. I feel like this story doesn't know what it wants to do, and when it does figure out ...

Ashita no Joe (Manga) add
Mixed Feelings
Spoiler
While I have this rated as a 10, I truly think it's a 9.5/10.

The story of Ashita no Joe is absolutely phenomenal, there's not a lot more that can be said.

Joe as a man and his fights encompass almost everything that I find interesting about boxing and life in general. His fight with Rikishi haunting him forever was amazing, but I truly think that his fight against Mendoza was where Joe culminated and peaked, with a close second being his fight against Carlos. Joe is everything that tomorrow is.

The ONLY thing that I have a problem with, is that I think the start is a ...
