Have you wondered how Ash understands what pikachu is saying when he says "pika pika." When I was little I always thought that. I guess Ash knows pika pika language :D
I loved the artwork of Tsumitsuki. But it would have been better if it was longer than 5 chapters.
btw Since you are reading Fruits Basket I recommend you read Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou. Its little similar to fruits basket because both stories gets dark after they reach the half of the manga. Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou also has romance.
