I'm going to tell you right off the bat that this anime is HILARIOUS. If you want a good comedy anime, this is the one. I have never laughed so much while watching an anime. Just the whole plot itself is funny. Satan comes to Earth and works at McDonalds??? That has to be funny. What sets this anime apart from most others is that some comedy anime nowadays rely heavily on fan service to be funny. Like generic girl with big boobs falls on pervert guy. this anime created hilarious situations and it paid off. The jokes, the situations, the characters, the interactions, all just so funny and well done.
I loved this anime and all, but there were minor things that I would like to bring up. Although the main character gave his reasoning for his change in attitude on Earth, I just don't buy it. He goes from being a world conqueror, to what he is in the anime? I can overlook that because I like he grows as a character and I respect and root for him.
Overall, this anime had me dying of laughter. Good clean humor. I wish that there could be more anime like this instead of the anime adding fan service which sometimes makes the anime uncomfortable to watch and takes away from the humor if used wrong. I don't want you guys to think that I hate fan service , but when it takes away from the anime, that's when I don't like it. That's beside the point though, this anime was hilarious and I like each of the characters and I liked how everyone developed over the episodes.

It is the worst feeling when you start an anime and you know it is meant for you, but as you keep watching, it digs itself into a hole and never climbs out. That's how i felt about Guilty Crowns. other songs that were in this anime. They were so moving. There were some plot holes in the first arc, but I was able to overlook them since the arc was well done. The problem was in the second arc.
The second arc killed me. Something happens and that's where I think the anime turned upside down. I at first understood the characters motivations, but after a while, it went out of hand(lel like that pun...watch the anime and you'll understand :P). I felt like the story fell apart and things started to not make sense. I just kept finding problem after problem. I soon began to write down all of the plot holes and things that made no sense in the second arc. You may see that as nitpicking, but it all adds up. At the end of the anime, I was just heartbroken.
Overall, this anime had a good arc and a poorly done arc. This anime will go either be one of your favorite anime or one of the worst anime you have seen. I have seen a lot of people come to defend it since it does get a lot of hate, but at the end of the day I'm just sad because this anime had SO MUCH to offer and I loved the first arc. The second arc brought it spiraling down and the first arc and the BEAUTIFUL music could not save it for me. I am so sad. It breaks my heart to write this, to even think about the anime. I just want to love the anime, but the direction they took it, brought it down. I am very very sad.

This anime was a bit different for me. I was just getting off the hype of video game anime. The main character is a chubby guy which is different which I thought was good I guess, but it didn't really change my opinion of the anime. I thought the anime was alright. A typical video game anime, but it did have an insecure main character and he grew over time which I thought was nice. I thoroughly enjoyed the action though.

the last half was better. It does not excuse the fact that the first half was very boring. I do like to see incompetent characters grow, but they have to make it interesting. The ending villain was pretty bad too. It was like they tried to make him as much of an asshole as possible.
Overall the anime was pretty good. The action was good so I enjoyed that and I liked most of the characters, but I didn't like how the main character was so dependent on others. He did grow a lot as a character and it was nice to see a different kind of main character instead of always seeing some badass kid. The last half of the anime pulled it up to a 7 or else, I would have given it a 5 or 6.

This was the first anime that I watched as it was airing on Crunchyroll. At the time, I was all for romance anime and I was looking for some good romance anime after completing another romance/comedy not too long ago. Let me tell you, this anime pulled me in on its first episode and I COULD NOT wait for the next episode the next week. you cry. The relationship the main characters have is so touching and the anime is able to add humor in the relationship and it all fits in. I loved every minute of the anime and all I cherished every moment of the anime. I wish it could be longer.
The supporting characters are also very good and they fit in very well and make the anime enjoyable and a fun time. There was one character who had a liked another character, but later on, they did nothing to develop it and seemed to drop it. It didn't really affect the story too much so it was fine. Another problem with the anime is the fact that it was advertised as a "sci-fi" as well as drama and romance, but the anime HAS "sci-fi" elements, but doesn't focus that much on "sci-fi" that much which may mislead some viewers.
Overall, this anime was very touching. The opening fits the anime VERY well and sets the tone for the anime. I still listen to the opening to this day. I loved every character in the anime and the relationship between the main character and the girl was touching and I enjoyed every minute of it. It is a romance story that will make you smile, laugh, and cry all at the same time. I felt like something great was learned each episode and I loved how the different characters evolved overtime. This is definitely my favorite anime as of now by far.

Do you enjoy an anime where the main character is overpowered and there is no tension? The main character was basically a robot. Had no emotions, nothing. Don't get me wrong, there are anime that have emotionless characters, but are still able to make the characters interesting and understandable. The main thing that made this anime one of my least favorite anime was the tension. There was absolutely no tension. The main character is so powerful, it is hard to feel like anyone will ever be in danger. It makes the fight scenes boring because you already know the good guys are going to crush the bad guys. The anime makes me root for the bad guys because I want some sort of tension. When you combine a boring, emotionless, and overpowered main character, you get a slow anime to watch. The anime honestly gets worse each arc as you realize there will be no tension.
Overall, this anime was very weak, had an emotionless main character and had no tension which made this anime hard watch. I was just shaking my head as the anime was winding down. This anime was very forgettable.

This anime is VERY beautiful. The characters are very touching and the way they interact with each other is amazing. The backstory of the main character I think is well thought out and great to build a story on and I love the effect the girl has on the main character. I believe all of those with my heart, but that did not make this anime watchable for me.
People always praise this anime and think it is very beautiful, but when I say I just can't watch the anime they ask "why". My answer always is, "as beautiful as the anime is...it is way too

slow for me". People usually understand that point and then say, once you get halfway through, it'll get better. That doesn't change the fact that I can't get past the part that I am at. The anime's pacing is not fit for me and I'm not even close to halfway through. It is hard to focus and let all of the good parts of the anime sink in if you are distracted by how slow the anime is.
Overall, the anime is very nicely made and from the parts that I've watched, it seems like it is a beautiful anime, but since it is so slow, I can't get into the anime and can't feel what the writers want me to feel...also, I've already had the anime spoiled. I feel that if the anime hadn't been so hyped up for me, I might have been able to get to the part everyone loved so much.

This anime was alright. Somewhat forgettable and the characters were pretty generic. I mean it is an echii/harem anime and they(for the most part) follow a cookie cutter strategy with the girls and the main character. The characters were somewhat likable and the anime did have its funny moments.
There is one thing in this anime that really did piss me off. Something had happened to some character(s) and it had scarred them for a while and when it was revealed to the audience, it did not live up to the way the anime was trying to make it out to be.

is alright. Had its good moments, it had its annoying moments. Right now, I am stuck between giving it a 5 or 6 and I feel that as I watch more anime, I'll be able to give it a score i am comfortable with. For now I am fine with giving this anime a 6/10.

I thoroughly enjoy anime with a good romance story and this gave me that. For the most part, i understood each character's motivation and reasoning. I felt like each character had a purpose and that is something many anime fail in. I really enjoyed the relationship between Tanabe and Hachimaki. They really worked well together and I liked Tanabe's effect on Hachimaki.
The reason why I give this anime an 8 is because first two-thirds of the anime was amazing, but I started to lose interest in the last third of the anime and although I did somewhat understand the characters motivations at that

moment and time, I just couldn't connect with the characters. I almost wanted to give it a 6 or 7, but they NAILED the ending so I had to give it an 8. Plus the first two-thirds of the anime was great and I don't want to punish a small portion of the anime.
Overall a great and heartwarming anime that focuses on character development and not on fan service. I wish I could find more anime like this. Also, this is the first time I've watched anything related to space(anime), so I was very pleased with this anime. I would definitely recommend it to others who like romance/drama/space.
