Waaa sorry for abandoning this site ;-; I've been completely inactive in MAL
tingy May 23, 2016 1:43 AM
Gah, sorry for late reply.

And yeah, I've visited twice, I wish more, but it's expensive. I've barely traveled around Taiwan too, despite being there for two months last summer OTL Have you been to any cool places in either Hong Kong or Taiwan?
tingy May 13, 2016 2:33 PM
Ohh, no wonder you said you have relatives in both places. Cool! Then I take it you've visited both places?
tingy May 13, 2016 1:40 PM
Hehe, thanks~

(I was born in Taiwan :O Surprised to see Taiwan come up in the thread lol)
GChan May 10, 2016 5:09 PM
I thought you were on the East because (I'm in PA) all we've been getting is rain, rain, rain.

Hey, you're not in Flint are you? I hope your water's ok. :(

I was going to try the mobile version of TR, mainly so I could just play it at work or traveling around. I got as far as getting into Japan itunes, but then I just couldn't find the icon LOL. So I got frustrated.

With the exception of Sayo, Yagen and Gokotai, the shotabait in this turns me off so, so bad...but thank god there's adults like Hasebe and CCP to ogle over. :D

And speaking of, CCP the nendo version is finally getting ready to come home to me where Tsuru is already planning some prank to welcome his former Date comrade.

I really like looking through twitter.. I wish I have an account, but I insisted not to have one. Why? I know for sure that I'll be glued to my laptop screen all day. I'm very obsessive over things you see, so I have to be cautious with things like that (too bad my obsessive habit made me got into Tourabu, ah sword hell).

You are quite lucky to have friends that have quite similar anime/manga taste. And also figures! I mean, my friends are the poster-type of fan, they'd rather get an artwork than a figure (I'm actually 50:50). I'm probably more enthusiastic talking about nendoroid in my group. T - T
I haven't been watching anime for the last few weeks now.. But I still read manga every night before I go to sleep. Oh yeah, I understand that. I can't sit still when watching a marathon of anime. I usually feel like crap after marathoning, it's more worse if the anime that I marathoned wasn't even that good.
I'm a procrastinator when it comes to drawing. I do sketches and the lineart for one day, and the next day would be colouring. Heck, I'm put off by my colouring skills to the point that it can take me a day or two to finish it. Grrr.

Haikyuu has some very good seiyuu. The fact that I know close to nothing about seiyuu and I'm making that statement shows how good they are. Murase Ayumu (Hinata) and Ishikawa Kaito (Kageyama) voices Kasen Kanesada and Sayo Samonji respectively. I saw in your tweets that you have Kasen and Sayo :3
Then also the glorious crane boy (tsuru) is voiced by Saito Soma (Yamaguchi in Haikyuu). I should stop yapping before I get too deep into this Haikyuu talk. Get a hold of yourself, me! *slaps myself*
Oh Reika cosplayed as Rei? I'm sure that I've seen that cosplay before. (Reika cosplayed as Rei xD )

Yeah, I think because I've listened to people speaking in Japanese, it just seems pretty normal now. In most live streams I usually pick up a some words/phrases and depend on their body language if they were talking about something funny or serious.

Yeah, I found the link to the live stream that I watched. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kx0wOUq6Vd4 . This live stream featured Satou-san, Saito Soma and Ichiki Mitsuhiro (CCP, Tsuru and Yasusada). have fun watching! ;D

Expedition is a really great way to get resources. Truthfully, I play tourabu just so that I can collect a lot of resources because I can't be bothered fighting the front lines.. And also I've got the swords that I wanted from the War Training event ( ` 3 ` )/ I can rest in peace. If you want to know how much resources required, just check Tourabu wikia's Smithing page. Because my level is higher than you, my resource is capped at around +30k so I'm not too worried about running out of materials (unless if I had an urge to smith continuously). From my experience, I think it's best to focus on levelling until you're confident that you've got enough resources. Because I was an idiot, at the start I didn't really know how to use the smith 'room'. I relied on drops from boss nodes only. The first time where I actually used my smithing option was 2-3 weeks after I started. My first Tachi smithed was Tsurumaru ^ o ^ bless him.
I'm not an expert in gaming, so I don't know the term 'family level'. But from looking through the definition of that on google, I'm sure that Tourabu don't have that feature.. I could be wrong *gulps*
Well, craft and smith both mean the same thing anyway so I don't think that'll confuse me. And then there are other who call them "forge a sword".

Wow! 6 Years! That is some achievement there :o *applause*. Like I said, I'm no gamer, but for you to play a game for such a long time, that is indeed something worth talking about. Wait, even seiyuu play this game? That's so cool. So the game itself is free to play right? That is disappointing, the fact that the North American servers being awful like that. I hope that won't be such a huge problem for you when playing the game :3
You even made a blog! How? I can't even start a conversation in MAL without being awkward.

Well, I hope you have a bucket of ice when you're watching that live stream link that I gave you.. A little warning that Satou-san is really kakkoii in that video xD
I'm sure that Ookurikara's unpainted prototype was shown at a live stream a few months ago (holy hell, he's beautiful).

Oooh did you know that a few hours ago that Touken Ranbu won a Famitsu Award for "movement award" << I have no idea what that means but I don't care, we won!! You can check this link to see who won.
I saw in your twitter that you did the swords quiz (swords.trash.moe right?). Thought I'd show you my top 10 :D
GChan May 10, 2016 12:50 PM
You on East Coast? 'Cause it's like that here as well.

Don't worry about the stories. Take your time. They ain't going nowhere lol.

Maybe I"ll try the game again soon.
Chaldene May 10, 2016 3:47 AM
Well, since I have exams, I'm not really required to go for my classes (I'm studying at home).
I'll visit your twitter page every now and then... But I won't respond to your tweets because I've not got an account D:

None of my friends from school are into the stuff that I like (anime, manga, etc) and my 'otaku' friends live far away from me (most of them used to live near me but moved house). I meet them at conventions and such. Just like me, they like sports anime (I like Haikyuu but they prefer Yowapedal and Free) and we're fujoshi by default. Oh yeah, I don't play sports either, but what's weird is that I used to be on a swim team and played a bit of basketball though I'm not too interested Kuroko no Basket and Free.

Oh that's really cool :o you can understand some kanji, that is an advantage. I'm still in the hurdle of Katakana/Hiragana and Kanji is just a hell hole.
I know that feel, I've been listening to so many Japanese songs for aa year and whenever I listen to an English song, it doesn't really kick in.

I saw that livestream from a reprint Youtube video, so I didn't watch that on NND. I'm pretty sure the only way you can watch that livestream on NND is if you're a premium member. I think that time I was just browsing through Youtube and that livestream reprint came up on my recommendations bar. The title was in Japanese, so the chances of me finding that same video might be pretty slim, but nonetheless, I will still look for it. :D
NND is pretty cool, I'm just lucky to have made an account because the amount of videos that I like are limitless. And so many people to follow too. Oh yeah, NND is a great place for Tourabu MMD (they've got millions of those! Have fun watching them). Here's a cool drawn PV of the touken danshi: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm27167042

I don't like mornings either, but sometimes I wake up early so that I can play a bit of Tourabu before my day starts.
Believe me, there's not a livestream that lasts for 10 minutes, they're usually an hour or more. To be honest, I prefer livestream where they speak English so that means I can multi-task as I listen to what they say too. When it's a Japanese livestream, I would have to sit down and watch the whole video closely because I don't understand what they are saying most of the times. ; w ;

I'm pretty sure that Missions reload twice every day (9 am and 9pm at my time). I'm curious what times does PvP reloads because at first I thought it will reload the same time like the missions, but no.

Yeah, 'come home' literally means what you just said. I think because the game's citadel looks like a place where the toudanshi lives, it sort of is like a house for them and so on..
What's that MMO game you are playing? I'm not a gamer, but I'd just like to know if that's okay (^^)

Welcome to Touken Ranbu, your level of patience and sanity will be tested throughout the challenging battles between the boss nodes, your love-hate relationship with Smith-kun and as well as a deep hatred towards the RNG that makes you want to punch the screen (don't do that please). I started playing this game thinking that I'll have a great time chilling about in ancient Japan history/facts with the swords.

Imagine if Shokudaikiri and Satou-san cheering on you... Just take a lot of tissues, your nose might need it XD
Chaldene May 9, 2016 3:04 PM
I've read this message. I'm about to go to sleep so will be looking forward to reading your reply tomorrow :3
Chaldene May 9, 2016 12:57 PM
Well, not giving you a response do make me a bit guilty and our chat seems to be very exciting it's hard to resist from not replying it asap ^-^
My friends are either sports anime fans or bat-shit crazy fujoshi, so they don't understand why I like tourabu so much. They're put off by the fact that it's in Japanese so my hopes of getting my friends liking it are not very achievable.

Oh I forgot that I've seen a livestream about the Tourabu nendoroid prototype release featuring Satou-san as one of the guest. He dressed up as Shokudaikiri in that livestream! At that time, I was at my friend's house, minding my own business and nodding along the video as if I was fluent in Japanese (I know zero Japanese). Of course, a lot of squealing and gasping involved. What was so stupid of me was that why I even watch a livestream in someone else's house when I know I go uproar hype when I fangirl. I didn't realise my friend's little brother was sitting behind me and watched what I was watching on my phone. Whoops.

Time zones are such a bother. I mean, I have to set my secondary clock as JST so that I'll know when the Missions checklist thing on Tourabu will refresh (it reloads at 5pm and 5am JST) and as well as that one livestream that I might have to sacrifice my sleep.

That is true, I've heard people wanting a sword so hard that it would take them multiple times of smithing and drops. *cries* Nagasone, please come home.. Your Koutetsu brothers are impatiently waiting for you and also, my Shinsengumi squad won't be complete without you :c
Yeah, I'm such a worrywart when it comes to resources in games. I like to collect as much as resources and be able to smith the hell out for the swords that I want. I did that once and got Hakata, Taroutachi, Shishou and Uguisumaru all in one day. Good luck at smithing! I saw your tweets and I'm sure all it takes is patience and a bit of faith on Smith-kun. He might be smithing the same swords again and again, but he's a cool guy (please give me my Nagasone Smith-kun ;u;)

Okay, picture that your swords are all cheering you on!

Uhhh *imagines Shinano and Yasusada saying Ganbatte*
Chaldene May 9, 2016 11:31 AM
Oh I forgot to mention! I don't have twitter, but I do go on it to stalk almost every day to find something funny/cute to entertain me.
Chaldene May 9, 2016 11:22 AM
It's actually quite nice that you like talking to me.. I may not give good response (sorry) but I really enjoy reading your messages. And also how you really like Satou-san so much, that's cute.

I still have a few exams, but they're not so bad compared to today ;w; almost died in the exam hall. I hope, I pass with at least decent grades.

Oh that must have been fun! Seeing Satou-san in a live chat xD
when it comes to my favourite Japanese music producer/Utaite, I usually missed their livestreams because the time difference makes it so hard for me. Speaking of live chats, I'm watching a DJ livestream video of one of my favourite music producer right now.. You don't know how much I dance around the around the room and lip-sync with the lyrics, kyaa-kyaa-ing when there's a cool drop beat right now. Help me \( >w< )9
There was one time where my voice gotten hoarse when I watched a livestream of Yamatonokami Yasusada's painted prototype being shown. Thought I'd let you know how weird I get over things I like.

Well, there's no need to be down when you've only started playing for 2 days. At the first few days I only had the tantous and didn't really smith for Tachi/Oodachi because I was scared of running out of my resources. How do you get Yasusada twice through smithing? I remember getting Ookurikara and Shokudaikiri before getting Yasusada. He was so rare for me, I dunno why.
Chaldene May 9, 2016 10:14 AM
Oh sorry for not replying to you ;---; I was in the middle of stressing over my exams, and I've finally sat my worst nightmare today. So yay!

Thanks for listening to my favourite Utaite's song :D makes my little broken heart weep in joy ^^

So I applaud you for listening in Japanese and being aware of seiyuu.

>o< you're so nice, thank you again!

And by the way, congrats on playing Tourabu.. You're officially a Saniwa! *throws confetti around*
Have you got any of from your trinity swords yet?
By the way, who was your starter sword? Mine was Kashuu. You know because I thought that having him as my sword would get me Yamatonokami quickly, but no.. It took me ages to get him, which was weird.

That video was soo cute, no kidding, no matter how many times I played the video I can't help always looking at Tsuru. Sorry, Kuri and Mistu.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
