Story [7/10]:
Although the story is confusing at face value due to all the random things going on, there is a story within this anime. Each episode also has a certain format to me, making it somewhat predictable among all the randomness but it doesn't get style despite repetition. Also, certain characters are setup to be part of different factions against each other and the kid has a portal head; it'll make sense by the end.

Art [10/10]:
Unique and beautiful, very stylized and always kept me engaged. Not really used to the older style of anime and typically it isn't my preference but something about FLCL came ... off as very masterful to me. Perfect 10/10, what a masterpiece.

Sound [10/10]:
The Pillows did a good job with the OST and Haruko sounds like a cutie, fantastic job. I bopped to the outro on repeat so clearly it is delicious to the ears.

Character [6/10]:
All characters are pretty boring and unmemorable. The only one that truly stands out is the guy with the funny eyebrows who gets like 15min of screen time at most and Haruko. I like Haruko a lot, unsure if you can tell.

Enjoyment [8/10]:
It was fun to watch, probably won't rewatch it however, might explore its sequels despite hearing negative things about them. Will most likely continue listening to the outro song for a few more months. Other than the fact that some episodes start off in a way that make you feel like you missed something from the episode before, I highly recommend this anime.

Story [1/10]:
Extremely neat concept with horrible execution. The fact that episodes are a mere 2 minutes long (technically they are roughly 4 minutes but it has an intro and outro) does not do this anime any justice at all. The story is fragmented and gives no explanation as to why or what is going on because of its time constraint.

Art [4/10]:
The art kind of hurts my eyes to look at, nothing really sticks out other than the absolute gore fest you get a few episodes towards the end.

Sound [4/10]:
Quite literally nothing special, there is some really bad music in it and some pretty awful sound ... effects. The only thing positive about the sound is the voice acting, but with the way the story is and whatever lines they are delivering, it isn't too engaging.

Character [3/10]:
The two main characters are brother and sister and the audience quite literally gets no time to learn much about either of them. Both the brother and sister have some type of genetic mutation as a result of a new disease and honestly should be a really cool factor of the anime but instead serves almost no purpose toward character development at all.

Enjoyment [3/10]:
Do not watch this anime. Although it is only about a half hour in total run time that would be a complete half hour wasted. Watching a single episode of any other good anime or just reading a book would be a better use of your time. In fact, it would probably be more enjoyable to watch paint dry than to watch this pathetic excuse for entertainment.

Story [4/10]:
Let's start with the fact that Kuzu no Honkai is a romance anime but one that goes to extents that most others do not. This anime is unlike any other romance anime I have ever seen, the main reason behind this is because the story is not wholesome. The main idea behind Kuzu no Honkai is the feelings of lust over the feelings of love. I think that pacing is great and how the story it is trying to tell is great, however this anime does not tell a story that I want to see.

Art [10/10]:
The art quality of this anime is actually really ... unique and beautiful. Everything looks so full of life and I love it a lot, it is actually one of the main reasons I will most likely finish this anime in the future. This is one of the more beautiful anime that I have seen and is honestly the most redeemable feature of Kuzu no Honkai in my opinion.

Sound [9/10]:
The intro and outro have a lot of emotion and I think are perfect examples of all the conflicting scenarios throughout the anime. Character voice acting is excellent and another nice feature of this anime. There are also subtle piano instrumentals in the background at various scenes that really cooperate well with the visuals on screen. Very good atmosphere overall.

Character [4/10]:
I despise the characters in this anime. I have not watched it the entire way through but the main character and premise of this anime revolves around Hinabi, a girl who slowly succumbs to the lust around her as well as her own and ends up sacrificing her innocence and everything that is her. Every single character is deceitful, lustful, depressing, or over the top dramatic. Nobody so far has any redeemable qualities, they all just seem to be horny teenagers that cannot think logically about anything. I hope that before the anime ends there is some type of rebirth or enlightenment in which the characters shift their personalities but I highly doubt it.

Enjoyment [4/10]:
I really do not enjoy this anime at all. I would not recommend it as a romance anime because it really is not wholesome in any way and I think that is what most people look for when they search for a romance anime to watch. This anime is extremely lustful and could honestly be considered hentai with a story aside from time stopping or body switching. I most likely plan not to rewatch the series ever and although the art is fantastic the story and characters are not worth your time.

Story [9/10]:
I like how the story doesn't explicitly say a lot about it and allows the viewer to put pieces together like a puzzle to determine the plot. The story also seems to always be moving, as one problem is solved, another is introduced. This movie keeps you (at least it kept me) very engaged the whole time. I went into this movie with some knowledge of what it was gonna be and I thought that it would be a relaxing watch but I was on the edge of my seat waiting for whatever next was about to happen. The only reason I give this ... a 9 instead of a 10 is simply because some things in the story aren't explained and they kind of leave minor plot holes, however these are extremely minor issues in the grand scheme of things and this truly is an amazing story.

Art [10/10]:
The art quality of this anime is honestly orgasmic. I understand obviously that as a movie the production quality is higher and always going to look better than any TV production but considering I personally do not watch a lot of anime movies, it was extremely refreshing and crisp to look at something so vibrant and crisp. Everything in this movie is absolutely gorgeous and is a true masterpiece in its artistic aspect.

Sound [10/10]:
An absolutely beautiful soundtrack set the tone and atmosphere constantly throughout this film. It enhances the artistic aspect beautifully and make the viewing experience feel surreal. This movie itself is an experience that is only supported by its beautiful art and beautiful choice of music. The character voices are also very matching for their appearance and exuberate emotion in every syllable spoken to create a story that feels real for the setting and the audience.

Character [9/10]:
Mitsuha and Taki are names you should never forget after this movie. They carry the whole story and are polar opposites but yet they go together so well. The only reason not to give this category of the film a perfect 10 is because sometimes our main characters do questionable things that in my opinion hinder the flow of the plot. The supporting characters also seem somewhat two-dimensional and I don't think they get enough screen time to be as flushed out as Taki and Mitsuha. However, I love how the story tells both of the story arcs in very specific ways and it is extremely easy and entertaining to determine who's perspective you are following in the story.

Enjoyment [10/10]:
I loved watching this movie with my girlfriend and I thought that it was a perfect movie for us. We both were extremely engaged and I would recommend showing it to a friend. It actually took me 6 months to get around watching this movie with my girlfriend and it was definitely worth the wait. I would love to watch it again and pick up on any minor details I may have missed while focusing on the main plot being presented in front of me because I definitely feel that there is a lot of potential for foreshadow or simple background art that can go unnoticed upon the first viewing.

Story [7/10]:
One word that ruins this anime for me, pacing. I like that the characters are not invincible, it tells a story more true to real life than you'd see in a typical anime of this genre. Some are very outgoing and larger than life and it makes you think that the characters are invincible super humans with unreal and unachievable standards. This anime does a good job of making its characters realistic and telling a believable story. However, things happen without good reasons, details are missing or clearly rushed in, and this ruined the experience for me slightly. Some anime I have seen tell ... a better story in just ten or twelve episodes than this one does in twenty-four.

Art [8/10]:
Not much to say about the art but I like the dark theme it has and how a scene can be portrayed based off the gore or happiness and carefree situation going on. It is obvious to tell based off visuals alone what is happening in the story and whether or not something bad may be creeping up soon.

Sound [6/10]:
Sound design is good however slightly lacking as nothing truly stood out. There were no neat effects in my opinion and the music in the anime is not too catching either. I think that the characters voice acting however is extremely good and therefore is deserving of at least a fair rating. All the characters are believable in their voice acting and it is obvious that they really knew how to play their parts.

Character [8/10]:
The characters in this anime can almost save it from being considered far too bland. I love the characters in this anime and wish that they were more flushed out and got better endings. I think some of the characters die for little or no reason especially considering how strong they all are. The good guys and the bad guys in this anime both have nice little quirks here in there that make them not just the bad or the good, they are believable and fight with a purpose.

Enjoyment [7/10]:
I recommend the manga over this anime. I think that the anime is far too rushed, there is little pacing, details are altered or entirely missing. I enjoyed this anime but not as much as I enjoyed reading the manga. The characters were simply more flushed out, the abilities and fights are more interesting despite being still images on pages, and I think that there is more of a happy ending. This review is being written upon my second viewing of this anime but I only decided to rewatch this series because I wanted to see how the story was told differently from the manga.

Story [9/10]:
I don't want this review to be completely comparing the manga to the anime since I have now experienced both but oh man, this manga does such a great job of story telling that the anime completely misses out on. There is more detail, and I feel that all the characters and the plot as a whole is just so much more flushed out. This story is a grim one, main characters are not invincible like in other forms of media, and the story of justice in this dark fantasy world is done in a way that makes both sides seem evil at some ... points. There are many pieces of this anime that I feel have very human emotion. Night Raid, our main characters, they want justice for unspeakable evils that are achieved no matter the cost, their methods might not be agreeable but it is the lesser of two evils and The Capital certainly deserves it. However, The Jaegers are an interesting part of the anime because sometimes they can be the good guys in comparison to The Capital's extreme evil, despite operating under The Capital. The whole story is a tale of back and forth, good and wrong, justice and injustice, with lots of gore, death, and dark imagery that convey a beautiful story. Also the imperial arms, or teigu as they are called, are an important part to the narrative that give it a unique twist from simply being a story about two warring nations.

Art [9/10]:
Having never read a manga before I did not know what to expect in terms of how the art style may compare to the anime or if it is good looking standalone. I can say personally however that this manga has clear art that keeps you in the action and intensity of the scene without ever losing you, you never have to ask what is going on in the scene, you can tell if it is fast paced and exactly what punches, kicks, or sword slashes are being thrown. Another neat detail is how there are some colored pages which I enjoyed a lot, being able to see the characters in that way made the characters really pop out and be more meaningful from the art (I already knew what the characters looked liked from the anime but if you were to only read the manga then it is a real attention grabber to see colored pages).

Character [10/10]:
My favorite characters are easily Wave, Kurome, Akame, Lubbock, and Mine (in the anime I only really liked Lubbock but the characters in this manga are more flushed out and therefore have more detail and traits to them that make them more favorable to me in this form of Akame Ga Kill!). Every character has amazing aspects to them that give them such relatable goals, the bad guys aren't just evil to be evil, they have purpose and that is a good thing to entertain the reader and make the story more convincing. Bols is a menacing man but is secretly quite soft, Wave is very similar to Tatsumi and begins to notice The Capital's corruption over time, and many other examples. The only character that is mindlessly evil, and this actually plays perfectly into the story, is Esdeath, but I shouldn't spoil anything regarding her as she is the main antagonist in this narrative.

Enjoyment [9/10]:
Personally enjoyed this much more than the anime, but reading it also made me want to re-watch the anime, which I am currently doing. I figured that I would re-watch it to see how the two differentiate from one another, what details are in one but the not the other, and I had watched the anime so long ago that I could not really remember. I watched the anime before I had a MAL account and gave it a rating without truly thinking in depth about a review like this so I decided to give it another shot. However, I know that the anime does not compare to the manga at all, and the anime has a different ending because it was made before the manga had even finished. In this aspect I feel that the manga has a happier ending and one that leaves the audience much more satisfied. I think watching the anime is a fine experience but you definitely miss out on a much stronger and more concrete narrative that can be found in this set of 78 chapters (2 of the 80 are mini bonus short stories).

Story [7/10]:
This anime had an odd story that felt like it didn't really go anywhere. The episodes felt like fractured mini stories rather than one continuous story line, nothing seems to really connect except in the long run. Every single episode has a weird time jump to it that can sometimes feel like you missed a detail or another from episode to episode.

Art [7/10]:
Standard art style as far as most anime goes, nothing truly stuck out in my mind as being truly exceptional. Although I found the style throughout cute and I thought that the intros and outros having differing details every time made them ... interesting and kept me from skipping past them.

Sound [8/10]:
Pretty good intro, pretty good outro. There are also songs within the anime such as the theme song for Meruru which has been stuck in my head for a few days and something I have sung quietly out loud to myself. The nice little tunes that establish an atmosphere are also positives that I liked about this anime.

Character [9/10]:
Kirino is a cute character but also extremely annoying, however the growth of all the characters throughout the anime are interesting to see develop despite the fractured story. I think that the incestual undertone is kind of odd although that is kind of the whole point of the anime. Seeing the brother sister duo grow and have their relationship develop is really what this anime is about and without these two differing personalities the show wouldn't be as interesting as it is.

Enjoyment [9/10]:
Although starting this show very long ago on Crunchyroll and only watching the first three episodes I am glad that I came back to finish this anime. It wasn't as interesting or captivating as others I have watched but it was still extremely enjoyable and a fun watch that I am glad I came back to finish. I don't think this anime is for everyone nor do I think I will re-watch it but I will most likely watch all the ONAs and the second season.

Story [10/10]:
This story is an absolutely remarkable tale of love. This anime made me feel so many emotions that I thought my heart was going to melt out of my body and my soul would transcend to the next plane of existence. There were so many times in this anime that everything started to go properly and then bad again and flipping back and forth between good things and bad things and it was a huge emotional roller coaster. Overall the way that all the characters evolve and form relationships with one another is told in such a coherent and heartwarming way that I could ... not help but to give the story a perfect rating.

Art [9/10]:
The art wasn't too different from your traditional anime style but I did find it to be a very appealing part of Toradora. Although odd at first glance, there were many times when the art style simply popped out and was absolutely beautiful. An example of this is in the Christmas episodes, everything is so bright and lively and gives such a warm feeling to the audience and it is one of my favorite episodes in the whole series as well as a turning point. The animation style is smooth and has very eye grabbing moments when the scene begins to get intense.

Sound [10/10]:
Every little tune in this anime assists its comedic and romantic nature perfectly. I loved the intro and the outro sequences throughout the entire anime and they always put me in a warm and fuzzy mood before the show starts. Sound isn't the best thing this anime has to offer but it is exceptionally well done.

Character [10/10]:
Every character is extremely unique and has great qualities about them, even the side characters like Yasuko. Pay close attention to all the subtle hints dropped from each person and pay attention to how their attitudes change toward one another. Watching the characters grow and develop in a realistic pacing is beautiful and truly what puts this anime apart from the others. Taiga, Takasu, Kitamura, Kawashima, and Kushieda make this anime shine as they evolve as characters and create nests within your heart as each of them unravel and show the best and worst sides of them.

Enjoyment [10/10]:
When I first began watching this anime, I had honestly expected nothing special. The episodes seemed bland and very standard, like something I had seen before. However, as the anime developed I realized that it was a unique experience, not just an anime, but as an experience in life. This show is romantic and funny, it is about friendship, family, and growth. I believe that everyone could find enjoyment from this anime, and might even be something that can be watched to get you introduced to anime if you have never seen anything before. I strongly recommend it and I am sure I will re-watch this series in the future because of how heartwarming it is.

Story [9/10]:
The story in this anime is extremely original, I love the idea of the fantasy world setting and Subaru's ability to return by death. The pacing of the show can be slow at times but I feel that it is a necessary plot element to the story. Much is introduced but by the end of the show the world that these characters live in feels extremely familiar to the viewer. There are many goals, some are met and others are not but I believe this could just be leaving some subplots behind for a potential second season, which I am really hoping there will ... be.

Art [9/10]:
The art style is slightly different than most anime I have seen and I can tell that a lot of effort went into it. None of the characters seem copy pasted at all, they all look different and have very key features that allow you look at them and tell how important they are to the story. The action sequences are also absolutely fantastic to watch and the gore is extremely entertaining. The anime knows perfectly when to set a dark tone with its setting and atmosphere as well as setting a much more lighthearted tone when the scene requires it.

Sound [8/10]:
Nothing too much sticks out but all the intros and the outro music is fantastic. I rate the music in this anime a certified jam and believe it adds to the story and atmosphere of the anime. Sound is a form of art and I stated earlier Re:Zero is extremely well at developing a comedic tone or a very serious tone depending on the situation.

Character [8/10]:
Every character in this anime is absolutely stunning. I love all of them and they made this anime extremely enjoyable. The villains are great villains, they have motives and their goals relate to those of a real person. Subaru is weak but never gives up no matter how hard things may get. Even some of the later characters who seem bad at first, such as Julius, will eventually change to become an important character at the climax of the anime. No characters are 2-dimensional and all grow in one way or another and watching that transformation is beautiful.

Enjoyment [10/10]:
I would rewatch this anime. I would recommend this anime. I hope there will be a second season cause there were many subplots that got introduced and many characters that kind of just disappeared. This series will be extremely memorable and there are so many elements to this anime that I think a majority of people would enjoy it.

Story [6/10]:
Not a lot of story here in terms of really driving and engaging stuff however this half hour mini series is like a little cherry on top of an ice cream. I thoroughly enjoyed it and since the Chuunibyou series is one of my favorites of all time you can expect me to be a little biased here.

Art [8/10]:
Love the art style and how upbeat it is, very bright colors, super happy environment, this anime is a little bundle of joy.

Sound [8/10]:
The background music and sound effects are the only sounds throughout this series since there isn't really an opening however they truly ... compliment this mini series and make it that much more enjoyable to watch.

Character [8/10]:
Although extremely cringy at times I love these characters, these characters make the perfect slice of life and romance anime characters I have ever seen. No new characters are introduced here but what I love is seeing a younger Rikka and a younger Yuuta, plus getting to see more out of Kumin's character.

Enjoyment [9/10]:
Watched this whole series in the middle of one of my calculus classes, gotta say it made time go by much faster. Although the series is small it does a good job of giving you a little more just to keep the dream alive of one of my favorite animes. I wouldn't recommend you watch this series without having seen the first season of Chuunibyou first.
