Issei is 100% the child of Carrot Glace. I have never seen 2 characters who match up so perfectly. Both series protagonists are major pervs, with big hearts, little magical power, and dragon-type beings within them. If you enjoyed High School DxD, then you should give Sorcerer Hunters a shot.

Jashin-chan Dropkick
add

Both series are about a normal girl living with an over-the-top perverted roommate. The roommate usually crosses the line and gets beat up in the process. The primary difference is that Ebichu tends to deal with sad and somewhat realistic adults who aren't very good people, whereas Jashin-chan is more wholesome and family-oriented.

Long story short if you like a ridiculous comedy about those who love games then you will find both series really enjoyable. Short story, long - They do have small bits of romance, but the games themselves drive the plot of the story. The only difference between the two series is that D-Frag is set primarily in a school setting, whereas Full Dive is primarily within the game itself.

Cat Lovers Unite!!! If you are an animal lover and a cat lover in particular then you will absolutely love both of these series. Both of these series are great examples of what it is like to have a cat. Inu to Neko shows what it is like to have a cat from the human perspective, while My Roommate is a Cat shows the life of a cat from the cat's perspective. If you love animals, then you will absolutely love both series.

Hanako-kin and Dusk Maiden are lovely ghost stories with a ton of heart. They really manage to get you in your feels about their main ghosts just when you least expect it. It is in those moments that both of these series shine. You may not see the similarities at first, but give each show a good 4 or 5 episodes and I am sure that you will see the same as me.

I loved these series because both of them are strong and mature character driven romances. What makes both of these series even better is the cast of supporting characters. If it wasn't for the supporting characters these shows wouldn't have nearly the amount of charm and splendor that they provided themselves with. The romances are both a slow burn with a strong pay off. I love both series due to the mature and realistic way that they portray love. I can not give either show enough praise. Just know that neither series will leave you with warmer feelings for hope and the desire for true love.

Baby Steps
add

Kenichi and Baby Steps are similar stories because both stories feature a main character that starts out as a novice in their respective fields, but soar to the top at an amazing speed. While the leads learn more about their fields you as the viewer also learn more about the fields as well. Oh and one final part to the recommendation - Both protagonists have a female lead that is already a master whether it is Martial Arts or Tennis. The female leads also lead towards romance in a sweet yet comedic way. Both shows are just a lot of fun and may not seem similar at first, but watch a few episodes of each and you will see exactly what I am talking about.

Kono Bijutsu-bu ni wa Mondai ga Aru!
add

Both series feature best girls who really enjoy making art with their crush who is just completely oblivious to the girls feelings. The only real difference between the two series is that Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru! takes place in a middle school setting and is a little goofier. Whereas Nozaki-kun is a just a little more mature when it comes to the romance. In the end both series are a really fun watch and if you liked one I absolutely recommend the other

Yuru Camp and Koisuru Asteroid are similar because they both shows are fun and educational. Both shows use Moe to teach you about fields that are not largely explored within the anime community and allow you to expand your horizons. I know both of these shows have made me want to learn more about camping and space. So, if you want some moe, learn a little bit, and have fun in the process you should watch both of these series.

Urahara
add

Creativity. Using your creativity to unite your friends and to build things with them as well is the central themes of these two series. Both series also use a bright and upbeat color palet to show the light hearted nature between them. The only major difference between the 2 series is the Urahara is a Magical Girl series and When Supernaturals Become Commonplace is more of a romantic/harem type of deal. Also if you have read this far, then watch the English Dub for Urahara because the voice acting on that particular version is superb.

The Rising of the Shield Hero is everything that Absolute Duo wished that it could be. Shield Hero focuses on a charachter with a Shield overcoming trials and growing as a charachter over and over again, and Absolute Duo focuses on a main charachter with a Shield and attempting to overcome his enemies with his friends. After that, the similarites differ. The Shield Hero was despised in one series, but revered in the other One is an Isekai and the other is an ecchi/school/harem anime. If you enjoy seeing a charachter with a shield instead of a traditional battle weapon then you will like both of these series. They are both fun overall You should absolutely make time to watch The Rising of the Shield Hero if you liked Absolute Duo. If you liked The Rising of the Shield Hero, and wanted more shield battles then you can just watch it when you get the chance. But hey don't take my word for it, go and watch both series, have some fun, and come up with your own opinion

Both series are isekai about a prophetic hero being transported to another world via a book found in a library and attempting to overcome a harrowing journey and adversity. Both also have that appeal that pumps you up and makes you want to jump right into the next episode to root for the hero. The only real difference between the 2 is the Fushigi Yugi is more of a Shoujo and Shield Hero more Shounen.

Midnight Eye: Gokuu
add

Both series have dark main charachters that you can't help but root for. They both live in futuristic societies, and are both really enjoyable to watch. One other similarity would be that in the English Dub Gokuu and Spike have the same voice actor. Because of that, Midnight Eye: Gokuu made me feel like I was watching another Cowboy Bebop episode

The similarities between the 2 series are as follows: - An apocalyptic version of earth set in the future - Both series rely heavily on the male and female mech pilots - Humans are fighting another species for control of the earth If you liked Darling in the Franxx for the reasons listed above, then you will like Blue Submarine No. 6 and the mysteries that are unraveled throughout its run time. The CG of Blue Submarine No. 6 has not aged well at all, but if you can get past that you will enjoy the series.

Are you looking for a series that looks like it could have taken place in the distant past of Cowboy Bebop? Look no further than Hakate Tonkotsu Ramens. Ban from Ramens looks, and acts very similarly to Spike from Bebop. There are a ton of parallels between these two shows that I could go on and on about, but in the end these shows are dark with fun and heartwarming moments, and an amazing jazz soundtrack.

If you like one of these shows, their is no way that you will not like the other. They have too many similarities in terms of style, but enough that seperates them to keep it fresh and entertaining.
