Glad you had a good time. I could never understand the appeal of KLK and why people compare it to gurren lagann. Besides the art style, the too don't seem to be that similar.

I hear yen press is licensing Index and several other light novels. Too bad Baccano or Durarara's not on the list.

Have you heard that Pandora Hearts is going to end next volume? So many series are ending this year, it's so sad.

Well I didn't end up going, but my friends did. How was it for you? I heard the AMV contest was pretty sweet. Also, did you end up buying anything? One of my friends bought a $90 Asuna figurine, lol. Talk about overpriced.

I just got to the part where Break loses his eyesight. Damn, I can't imagine how he'll fight/get around without his vision. Break provides very nice comic-relief and I like his personality as well. Seems likely that she doesn't like Gil; Oz is always bullying him.

I've always read a ton of shounen stuff, so shoujo is pretty refreshing, and even though I'm not the target audience I still enjoy it. I remember reading some shoujo that was really awful/borderline abuse once though. Have you seen Diabolik Lovers? It's kinda like that...

I hope they move away from the gang stuff in season two, though it should have been resolved. I'm more interested in Izaya's life as very little was revealed in season one. He still has Celty's head; I wonder what he plans to do with it.

I may be going to animeboston with some friends of mine, depending on whether or not I can get a ride.

I hope the story focuses more on Xerxes, his backstory was quite unique and I can understand why people like him so much. Gil is still my favorite character though. His yandereish personality is quite appealing.

I just got the 11th volume of PH, and the story is really getting interesting, These plot twists are insane, I get a 'holy crap' moment every chapter. I'm probably going to re-read PH a lot to remember everything that happened, especially if I eventually start reading online scans.

Yuri manga does seem to have good romance, although I find shoujo romances to have the best character development. If you know any good short ones I haven't read, please sent me a recommendation :)

I have heard of drrr! season two and honestly I'm quite amazed. I wish Baccano! would get a second season as well, but it's been like 7 years and that's probably not going to happen. I hope s2 focuses more on Celty, Izaya, and Shizuo, as they are definitely the most enjoyable characters imo. I didn't get enough Izaya from s1.

Anyway I bought up to volume 7 of Pandora Hearts and there are so many plot twists, it's awesome. I have a friend who reads ph too, and he says that Alice pretty much becomes a side-kick character later in the story. That's so sad....

The clothing is ph is probably my favorite part of the art. It's so detailed and looks really...pretty...for lack of a better word.

You...read yuri? Wow that's pretty interesting. I think I've read one yaoi (Seven Days) and it was pretty good. If you like yuri, check out citrus, it's probably the best one I've read so far.

Yeah my vacation ruined me too. I was all set to do all of my homework, but I ended up procrastinating the week away. Your firefox crashed? That sounds horrible. Do you fully update your list? If not it'll be a pain to figure out what chapter your on...

It's really hard to decide whether or not you like good or bad endings too. Like sometimes I really want a good ending, but other times I prefer bad ones, even if I like the characters.

I have 5 volumes right now. I've re-read 1-3 twice and I finally get the story. i thought Raven was like some sort of super-power, not a chain (lol). I still have like a $70 bookstore gift card, but dad's going to force me to buy the volumes slowly, like one book a month or something. The art is amazing...I took a look at the art in the anime and it looks so much worse though..what did they do...

Endings can be the worst. I always feel so pissed when I finish a bad anime with a bad ending cause it feels like I wasted so much of my time. For some reason, I can deal with shitty manga a lot better. Probably because if I don't like it, I don't have to pay that much attention.

Kawaoru is only good for the yaoi doujins. Srsly. >_<

Lol Kaworu is like not even there. I mean he's there for one episode and then ...no spoilers but yeah he's a really minor character. Maybe it's cause of all those yaoi doujins about shinji and kawaoru

I only bought the first two volumes so I just re-read those...I'm not going to attempt to read it online, I'm just going to buy volumes because it got so confusing and I need to re-read it a lot.

Most of rightstuf's on sale products are anime. And we both know neither of us want's to buy an anime season for like %30 (compared to the $100 previous price) when we could just stream/download.

As we get closer and closer to winter break, the homework heap gets higher and higher...I know that feel....

Watching anime you don't really like is really hard. I didn't really like NGE that much either, but it's one of those classics. I found it kind of repetitive and boring when I was watching it.

The manga (alternate universe) actually can't be found online as they only translated the first 7 chapter, you gotta get the volumes so it's a real pain to read.
