Yeah, the ads are a bit of a pain.
Hmmmm... we'll nothing really LIKE Elfen Lied, it is pretty unique in that aspect... From the manga you like and based on what I've read I would definitely recommend GANTZ, it seems right up your alley! Especially since you enjoyed the anime, the manga is WAY better.
You might like Soul Eater... and based on your other entries if you can find My Balls you might find it pretty funny. Another good manga is Kurosagi the Corpse Delivery Serivice, I've only read one volume and haven't been able to find anymore but it is really cool. I can't think of any other REALLY good ones along those lines but I'll see if I can think of any more ^_^
