What else do people talk about with relation to appearance? idk. Not that a
I watch anime with my sister, who is two years younger than me. People ask if we are twins, though. Thats probably because we tend to talk in unison on account of the fact we spend ungodly amounts of time together, watching anime.
Cosplays: I've cosplayed as a Random Ouran girl, Sumomo-chan from Nanatsuiro Drops, Nia from TTGL, and most recently from Baccano! as Miria. If you've seen me around, let me know!
Conventions: Ohayo-con, Acen, Otakon are the main ones. I'll probably try to fit in Matsuricon and/or Sugoicon as well.
I go to various anime blogs and what not to keep up with all the latest news, lol.
Mmm, I will list my daily routine of clicks later on, not that it is very interesting. You will find me doing various things on the internet from chatting with people who know nothing about anime on facebook, to lurking on the /a/, /b/, /c/, /cm/ and /y/ boards of 4chan.
I love to read. It used to be, before I got so heavily into manga/anime, that I would read a book a day, more if it was a lighter novel. I am an incredibly fast reader. So this summer, I am trying to get back into reading.
So far this summer I've finished reading Dante's Divine Comedy (mostly to give me one thing in common with Lelouch, pictured above. Is anyone reminded of ZSZS in this situation, haha). As a fairly honest person (despite my handle) I cannot say that I took any kind of entertainment from the DC. In fact I found it to be fairly drab, at least in light of my expectations. It may be due in part to the translation or simply the reader's lack of mental exercise as of late, however.
Next I read Italo Calvino's "On a winter's night a traveler" recommended by this great anime blog , sort of. I really enjoyed this book. If you enjoy reading then I definitely recommend it.
I finished Mark Twain's "A Mysterious Stranger"which I read because it was quoted in a volume of the Eva manga. Weird, but interesting read. If you like Twain or can get a laugh out of a demonic kids who gets his kicks from manipulating others, than I recommend it.
The Mill on the Floss by George Eliot. For no particular reason except that I like the title. This book started slow, but if you can stick with it (and wouldn't be put off by a less than desirable ending) then I recommend it, simply because of the slow paced, sort of a "common genius" it presents. And there were some pretty awesome love triangles going on towards the end.
"The Picture of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde. The first chapter made me feel as if it could develop into a great yaoi, but alas, no such luck. Seriously though, I really enjoyed this book- Harry was always saying some great one liners, which made me chuckle. I didn't really care about Dorian at any point in the story, but the surrounding characters were interesting.
The last book I was able to read over the summer was "Dracula." Anime has definitely given me several strange fetishes (well more than several, actually) and vampires is one of them. So I enjoyed this book. It had the right amount of creepyness that it lived up to the hype, and actually a surprisingly well paced, thoughtful plot line. I only wished that there was more actual blood sucking.
My page is a work in progress. Will make better over time, I promise. Also, I know that many of the pictures look ridiculous on the page- they really should be resized or something. GAH. So soon, I'm going to add pictures corresponding to the "Favorite Anime, Manga, Pairings, and Characters" sections.
Right now I'm looking for a job, and that's basically all I have planned so far. I'll think of something though!
I might work on my cosplay for ohayocon next year. I want to go as either eyes rutherford from spiral or alicia florence from aria. if i start now though, I might have enough time to do them both!
ahhh okay then, when alice was telling me about this site she just pointed me to that accound saying it was hers lol; also i guess i made my accound back in '07 haha
