If you aren't aware yet, MAL had some problems at the beginning of October. Things are mostly straightened out, but, because of them this newsletter is late. And, because this letter is so late, there will be no mini-newsletter to announce the opening of the Fall Member cards, which haven't began to be created yet either. However, once enough votes are gathered on this season's What's Hot and Not polls, the new cards will be made. So check back with us next week if you want to see them. To get things moving, please visit the links below and vote for your favorite/least favorite new shows:

The new seasonal member cards are out. If you have already requested this season, you should know that Usagi Drop, Kamisama no Memochou, Baka to Test 2, & Natsume Yuujinchou San cards have now been added. Just make a new request if you want these!

We have also added AnoHana, Toriko, & Hanasaku Iroha cards to the Spring member card collection. There is no limit to how many you can have. If you requested some before, just make a new post! Spring 2011 Member Cards

Hi, :) Yeah I was even debating whether to use that term "shounen-ai" or not. Because "Shounen-Ai" is supposedly obsolete and basically means "pedophile" nowadays as far as Japanese anime nomenclature goes, really there's either yaoi or BL. The main reason I decided to use the term is because MAL has the series tagged as such.
But I like your definition...and even more so it proves that that X/1999 and X-TV should be a "shounen-ai" because there is a lot of emotion and angst shared between the two male leads.
