Oh, hey. Sorry for the delay! :) I liked them all, to be honest. Tainted Donuts reminded me just why I loved Cowboy Bebop and Trigun so much back in tha' day, and Gratuitous Violets (cool name, btw) was suitably ass-kickin', as almost anything with the Major and Revy. I've still only seen GITS: SAC 1st GIG, which is rather shameful. I must sort that out this year. You can see the clear difference in budgets between Black Lagoon and SAC simply by noting that Revy rarely moves in any of the shots, while the Major is all kung-fu and crazy.
I'm a bit ambivalent on the Gurren Lagann AMV. Never really been a fan of the more comedy orientated AMVs, though a certain amount of parody for GL is apt. The Haruhi one was interesting-- this the first time I've actually seen any proper, in episode footage of the show, so it's definitely piqued my interest. Probably another one I'll have to watch later this year!

Hey Johny, sorry for the late reply, I've been having issues with my computer all week. Anyway, nice to meet you on MAL! And thanks for commenting on my blog too, my heart jumps everytime I get a new comment on something that I've written for the blog, so it's really nice to get to speak to you here on MAL too. I'm working on a "review" (more like personal interpretation) of Kaiba at the moment, should be online at some point over the next few days.
As for my rating of Millennium Actress, I presume you expected me to have rated it a little bit higher? The thing is, I watched MA before I knew about Satoshi Kon or anything like that, my tastes weren't as refined, rather I was watching as much anime as I could find, so I didn't really give myself a chance to think about it or understand it, I simply watched it and moved on. I remember liking it, but not loving it. But that was then and I'm older now, with more anime under my belt and probably will watch it again to reasses my opinion. Hope that all makes sense! :)

hehe yeah, I pulled an all nighter =P
I had to turn the day around again.
But, yeah, I certainly loved it and will remember it...probably rewatch it at least 1 time =P
Btw I don't know if it was supposed to be in the movie, but there was a line in the end saying "This story has never ended" ...??
Anyway, it got me thinking....dunno why =P
