Nothing in this work makes any kind of sense.

Art: Some solid 2-page spreads. Looks quite good when it comes to drawing cables and data. Everything else is terrible. The anatomy in humans is sub par, and everything is inked way too much to the point of some scenes being unintelligible.
The ugly artstyle, a product of it's time for sure, fits the plot well, but it was hard for me to read with it being so ugly and all. I don't need some cutesy moe shit either, but damn is this artstyle hard to digest on (current year).
There's quite a lot of ...

Mixed Feelings
A set of 9 short stories that make no sense at all.
This work is not to be taken seriously, as the vast majority of them (except 2) are just bizarre in every aspect perceivable.
The most normal thing this work has to offer is it's artstyle, which is admittedly, pretty nice yet simple.

Of these 9 shorts, only 2 of them are worth writing something about, with the rest being completely unconsenquential on the readers opinion or straight up, a detriment to the final score this manga could have gotten.
These 2 stories mentioned are also the longest ones in the set, with "BOKU-chan" being ...

Dorohedoro (Anime) add
If you only watch this anime, then it's at most, a 6.5/10. if you compare it to the manga, then this anime adaptation is a 2/10 max.
While Dorohedoro is considered by many to be an iconic manga, I would still consider it pretty niche, the chances of an anime adaptation were really slim, and when the only chance came around they absolutely ruined it. Do yourself a favour and read the original work.

My Enjoyment and Overall score are strongly tied to the art direction, this left a bad taste in my mouth. I loved the manga, so this adaptation get's me depressed and I ...

A boring collection of horror stories that makes you think "when will this end" even if it only has 11 chapters. That's how boring it is.

STORY: Pretty unique stories, extremely bizarre and graphic. With all of these being oneshots, don't expect anything deep or amazing. The plots are just ridiculous and gruesome for the sake of it, which can have it's own appeal, but falls flat when you realize the stories aren't important at all, they're just an excuse to make gory art. Maybe this would have worked better as a collection of art pieces and nothing else.

ART: With how mediocre this manga ...

A short, endearing manga about two friends living in a town near a volcano.

story: the perfect blend of what makes the teenager experience:doing embarassing thing without knowing why, not being honest with yourself, trying to look cool, wanting a boyfriend/girlfriend, not knowing how to express yourself, not knowing what to do with your future, and the most important aspect, friendship that could last lifetimes.
While there are people who are introverted and totally shy, most humans get at least one best friend, that one that's irreplaceable, that you want to grow with, that you want to express your feelings to without knowing how to do ...

666 Satan (Manga) add
666Satan was done by Seishi Kishimoto, brother to Masashi Kishimoto, Naruto's creator.

The first 10 or 20 chapters of this manga will be filled with similarities between scenarios and concepts to Naruto, with moments that I can't quite understand if they were plagiarized from Naruto, or just a simple homage. From the protagonist, Jio Freed, who was bullied by other kids his age, who doesn't have fathers, who has an absurd dream (that of course will be achieved by the power of determination and friendship) and even to the concept of having an evil monster residing within him, the similarities are just too many. And ...

Mixed Feelings
A cute short story about a girl riding a scooter and an old man riding a bee.
Made by Ashinano Hitoshi, the author of what is (probably) the best slice-of-life manga to ever exist, Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou.

Only 20 pages long, the characters, the story and the art get the job done, nothing special mind you, it's just a nice, adorable one-shot that you would probably skip over. I recommend it, not reading it would be a shame considering it's just one chapter, and it might brighten your day or your hour a little if you're feeling down.

(I'm adding this paragraph as filler due to MAL ...

A set of stories with a weird fixation on fish, the sea, and the abstraction of the everyday world.

Beautiful art that makes excellent use of contrast and white spaces, with the human characters drawn in a cutesy and really really simplified way, almost doodle-like, while the backgrounds have this eerie, realistic-but-out-of-this-world feeling to it, creepy and full with detail. When it comes to the abstraction, this is probably the best aspect of the artstyle, the mangaka really nails it when it comes to the deformation of the normal world into an alien space, and how the abstraction takes a role in the plot, items ...

Neo Devilman (Manga) add
A compilation of differents artist's works on the Devilman universe. These stories are not canon nor important to the series, so you can read them whenever you want (of course, first having read the original Devilman).
Most of the little stories presented in this compilation are either unintelligible, boring or down right bad.
While this is a fast read (only 18 chapters) I would only reccommend this to Devilman Fanatics, and even for them this one should be hard to swallow. Bored me to death, maybe only 2 or 3 stories were interesting. There's also a few stories made by Nagai Go (the original creator ...

(NO SPOILER)

You should read the original and inconcluse Maou Dante before reading this remake, I will judge this Remake based on the original rendition.

STORY: Even worse than the original's plot somehow. While both plots are the same, the structure in this one is changed completely, with the starting point being the plottwist/revelation of the first version of Maou Dante, making this remake void of any mystery or surprise, which makes it boring and a sludge to go through (Specially if you read the first Maou Dante before this, due to both mangas having the same plot with a different streamline). Also, don't expect a ...
