I am of the opinion that the visual novel/manga which anime get adapted from are better most of the times, but I do not read manga. I should definitely start reading.
The only reason Guilty Crown scored a 7-8 for me is the art and sound section. I thought that the characters were all crap except Inori, which is one of my favorite characters in my anime history. And I did not like Shu, even though he was human and he had feeling, i though that he was a chicken. I did not like Gai as well because he just changed the storyline and made it more complicated.
