Ok so I had to go re-read Genkaku Picasso from the beginning. I've only read the first "3 chapters" from Shonen Jump but when I downloaded the scans for volume 1, it seemed that they just only took the first chapter and divided it up into 3 parts for the preview in Shonen Jump magazine. I hate it when they do that, LOL.

Anyway, yeah reading the scans from the beginning actually makes the story flow better. Yes it is episodic and problems always get solved by the end of the chapter, but I guess you can say that each little story is short and sweet.

I think that the best thing about this series though is how Picasso's classmates keep thinking he's creepy and a perv - it's just so funny xD I don't know if I like the series enough to buy it (since I already have so much manga), but I did find a place that had all 3 volumes scanned so I'll continue reading it. I'll let you know my thoughts once I finish the entire series.

How are you liking B.O.D.Y? I haven't even bought volume 10 yet. I'm hoping that they finally release volume 11 - especially since it looks like they already have a cover design for it: http://www.justmanga.com/jmprod/BODY11

I haven't read Hiyokoi but the plot sounds kinda cute :)

LOL, well that's kinda the thing. It seems that only the first volume of the series is scanlated so even if I wanted to read the rest of Genkaku Picasso, I'd still have to buy the volumes.

I still haven't read further into the series but I'll let you know my thoughts when I do.

LOL, I don't really hate Genkaku Picasso, I just didn't like it enough to want to buy it even though it's only 3 volumes (I'm picky because I have hundreds of manga at home).

I've been hearing good reviews about it lately plus the mangaka is supposed to be someone special so I think that I'll actually give it a second chance and buy the first volume. If I still don't like it after finishing the entire first volume, then I'll give up, LOL.

How do you like it? Does the series get better? I do admit that it's an interesting story, I just kinda feared that it would start to get repetitive/cheesy fast (but sometimes cheesy can be good haha).

I have only read up to volume 9 of B.O.D.Y. I'm too lazy to get volume 10 at the moment (I must watch my money!)
