SAO has way too many flaws obvious tropes and is beyond predictable. Like how the game actually operates makes it an insult to MMO players. Then there is Kiritos Harem which is really stupid. There is way to much for me to go into detail without writing several paragraphs I recommend you go watch a video reviewing SAO on youtube that deconstructs the show.
Okay now to Jojos, well honestly its because its too boring in terms of the main character and the powers in the universe. Hamon is to simplistic and falls under a lot of power anime tropes. Stands are based from person to person you can have the best stand in ZA WARUDO and still get completely trashed by someone because they have the perfect counter to your powers. Jonathan Joestar is too much of that archetype Hero that is boring because he wins by manliness and hes a flawless moral being with powers. Jotaro on the other hand is not strictly a hero he does bad things but really he is a good person. Those flaws make him more relateable and a more interesting character. Personally my favorite Jojo is Joseph Joestar. He constantly fights people stronger than him wins with his wit and skill. He is far from a perfect person, but thats what makes him more relateable. Don't get me wrong though I still really like Phantom Blood, Dio is one of my favorite villains and thats where I was introduced to him. In terms of Villains Phantom Blood had it down pat in terms of power and Protagonist It did a lot wrong.
No, constructive would be proving each of my similarities wrong with a logical explanation. But Finding things similar is a matter of a person so you, commenting my profile to tell me that your personal opinion is different has no point anyways.
I don't know what the current policy is on that.
Up until the end of last year, MAL used freelance writers for the articles and editors on MAL's staff went over the articles we submitted.
After they got new management and built up enough articles most of the freelancers were let go, that is why there are fewer new articles now. It's just their staff and maybe a few other people doing them. Not sure if the other people are still paid freelancers or just volunteers.
At the time of the writing, my editor said any non-human character that did not fit into another obvious trope (cat girl, elf, etc.) was alright and they wanted Monster Musume in there for popularity. They specifically asked for Miia to be included.
I have seen the rest of the series, but the later episodes have only further cemented the accuracy of my review. I'd definitely update it if there were a change in the series, but alas there was not.
I doubt it is because your standards are too high since your favorite anime are all mostly mindless violence-themed, which makes up a large number of anime. I think it is just due to the fact I've been growing my list for 10 years on MAL and you have only been growing your list for 3. With there being over 8,000 anime, there is no shortage of things to watch unless one only cares about anime that are as well-written as Clannad or Saikano, in which case the choices are very VERY small.
