So I had just come off of watching Gundam AGE, which really was disappointing, when I watched this. Initially, I thought the concept was going to be lame, but I actually enjoyed it. The idea of how they would make Gundam work in the real world was satisfying enough to me that it rekindled my love for the models and I bought a few soon into the series. The characters are fun and likable, the idea of Gundam competition was fun. Art is fun, and you get some really over the top OP Gundam action.

You may be watching this series in the first few episodes and be wondering why people who recommend the series do so. To you, I say press on, for great things await you if you do. I enjoyed it so much, I took off work a few days to binge this series once I got into it, and I don't usually do that.

One of the things that defines a good anime to me is when it both stands the test of time and how it is when compared to other anime I watch. With those things in mind, I can't say enough how much I thoroughly enjoyed this series. I have watched ALOT series since watching it, and this one still ranks up very high for me, even almost 10 years later.
It's funny, I enjoyed the original FMA series so much back when this came out that I avoided this series, in fear that it would somehow make me upset at the mishandling ...

Really, because both seasons are out and available, I'm going to just repost my review from the first season below. I will say I felt they kicked the action up a notch in this season, and you get more interesting missions for Celestial Being. Read below and enjoy the series, this is the best Gundam has to offer IMO.
I really love the story with this one, I think it draws you in and makes you really like the characters. I really like it when they blur the lines between which side is doing good, and which side is doing the most harm. ...
