After watching the penultimate episode, I feel I'm in a position to compose my feelings and observations of the 2019 remake of shoujo classic "Fruits Basket" dubbed "Fruits Basket :Brotherhood" - instead of giving a half baked review 6 episodes in or so.
Personally, I had only watched the 2003 anime and not read the manga. On the surface I felt it had an interesting premise albeit things felt a bit dragged out in the

original. So I went in not being the greatest fan of the series- and thus I would not be over-forgiving of its faults (if any)
The remake has a brisk pacing with a much much better art. The animation is better than one would expect of a shoujo series (the "fighting scenes" were rather smooth, good job on that on TMC- your Megalo Box is showing).
See, the important thing here is that it is ultimate a "remake" of a early 2000s- 90s shoujo. Some troupes that were ok then have long since faded away/ criticised by viewers. Yes I'm talking of the typical girls hitting guys out of "love"/embarrassment, picking incessantly on one character as "humour" etc. The thing is though (without spoiling anything here) that Furuba addresses them as what they are in their all problematic nature. If there is one thing this show doesn't shy away from is it's willingness to address emotional turmoil, abuse and other surprisingly disturbing emotions and situations.
Furuba is unnaturally mature on it's take on complex human emotions and relationships and unique for it- considering it's flowery-cutesy-fun sounding shoujo-fantasy premise. It would be great injustice to the show if people underestimate this series' ability to deal with real problems that it's characters face seriously.
The characters are a solid driving force in the show. With the variety of their characteristics and their circumstances- they form a rich background for our story to progress. Our protagonist Honda Tohru may initially seem like a goody-two-shoes typical shoujo MC. Eventually she also reacts and develops with the show's progression, instead of being a one-note protagonist. Kyou is the original tsundere boy of anime and an utter delight to watch. ALl the other characters are fantastic too.
As for the sound, the songs seem to suit the series well and the OST was nothing spectacular but complemented the series well. The voice acting was top notch. Uchida Yuuma in particular deserves special mention-his delivery was especially amazing in emotional scenes. Also, Takahiro Sakurai as Ayame was a riot. The rest of the cast filled their roles well too-no issues there.
Overall, this series marks an improvement over the previous adaptation. It has incorporated some parts of the manga not in the older version while following the manga almost to a perfect T. All in all a great series. This adaptation makes it clear why it stands head and shoulders above the rest of its pack and has stood the test of time to continue being a beloved franchise.

After watching the affable Inazuma Eleven, I honestly expected this series to be as good, ii not better, than its preque, considering all the publicity and the hypel. And, I've been sorely diasappointed. This series falls way below expectations in almost every way possible.
Art:9
The only silver lining in the otherwise dark cloud, the art has improved. Better animation and art than the first.
Sound:5
Voice acting was top notch. Unfortunately the music score, which sets the feel for the series was.... horrible.
Although the later themes were better, but 'Ten made Todoke'? Seriously? What's wrong with T pistonz and KMC! And lets no even talk about
...
the EDs. These songs cannot even hold a candle to "Ryuusei Boy' or 'Maji Bomber' (or even 'Seishun Oden', for that matter.)
Story and Characters: 6
Being a kids anime, I didn't expect much of the story. Although they've tried to make Go darker ad edgier,the whole Fifth Sector suspense is not half as impactful as say, the climax of the Aliea Arc. Just the same old formula of "organisations trying to control sakka".
Moving on to the characters.. It was nice to see the old ones return- we got to know what happened to them after the FFI, which was refreshing. The new characters, unfortunately, seem to be like the same characters mish-mash.
Tenma proved to be the bane of the series- his personaity was a complete copy of that of Endou's. It was like watching Endou say those positive, encouraging things... except in Tenma's case, they sounded banal- it was nothing new.And what I find annoying is that even the matches seemed repititive (maybe after watching all those international level FFI matches, school level matches might seenm to be tad boring). I remember skipping all the match sequences- because most of them ended with Tenma (who else) giving hackneyed soliloques and speeches and everyone magically "falling in love with soccer".
Even though I'm a huge football/soccer fan, and I never minded Endou's speeches because they made sense......
To me, Tenma's ramblings are nothing but pure peurile garbage.

Salvaged by the old characters.
Overall: 6
Verdict: IE GO is, especially in the beginning, very slow. Although the things do become a bit interesting, but believe me, halfay through, you'll realise that the only reason you'll watch the series sincerely willl be to catch a glimpse of your favourite characters in the first series

Since I'm not very fond of sports type anime, I can't compare it with any other of it's genre. But I can assure you that it's VERY GOOD. At first I thought it was kinda wierd coz it looked kiddish but within cartoon Network's 4 episodes in a row Saturday got me hooked (even with those aweful hindi dubs).
Art wise, Inazuma Eleven scores high with great character designs, nice backgrounds etc. It is actally good.
In sound department, theme songs are quite cheery and just the sort that gives you THAT feeling. The OPs have the soccer anthem feel while the EDs give you a
...
nice sweet feeling. Voice acting is great as the voices suit the characters.
Story is nice in your typical road to success way though they incorporate many fantasy-products (see gods, aliens, angels and demons etc.) but never the less is decent
Charcters... now you are talking, surprisingly over the top yet lovable characters, they are the main thing of the story. You can't help in fall in love with not just one but MANY characters of the story.
Enjoyable anime...give it a shot. You'll fall in love with it.

THE Full Metal alchemist:Brotherhood.....
Where do I start..... How bout a sure shot epic ...legend.. THE BEst EVER?
The most awaited anime (hich earlier raised suspicions of being a rip-off or some bid to make money by the studio) of 2009 is by far the BEST anime the world has ever soon or at least one of the best.
ART: 8 (Ed with bleach yellow hair????)
Earlier had problems with the slightly different character design (of Ed and Roy in particular) but later I got used to it. Otherwise the backgrounds and other characters were quite nicely drawn.
Sound: 9.5 (Awesome songs!!!!!TOO GOOD!!!!!!)
The seiyuu were pretty much the same
...
(though a change in Roy's seiyuu was disconcerting at first) and overall the voice acting was great. The background music was par excellence while the OPs and EDs were mind blowing. One could feel the FEEL of the series reverbating in the songs...
CHARCTER,STORY:10 (One word..... Legendary)
Brotherhood follows the plot of the orignal manga. The story is as flawless as the its source and perfect in all aspects. Though at first one may find its 10X speed a little too much but.... (again) on'll get used to it.There were a lot of new characters which added a new flavour to the series and gave the series a new dimension as compared to the first series. The plot,especially in the end is gripping and one is left marvelling at the genius of Hiromi Arakawa.... without and any gaps or loop holes (as seen in the end of the first anime adaptation).
ENJOYMENT: 10
X100 Action, X100 Comedy, X100 Emotion, X100 Awesomeness...

Side Note: Those who haven't watched the first series are requested to watch it first as it (at least in its first half elaborates on some skipped or shortened events).

Okay....
I watched this season of InuYasha after getting bored by the previous pointless season six and got COMPLETELY surprised as this was NOTHING like I had expected!!!!!!!!
STORY: 9
It was REALLY good as their was minimal filler and thankfully there was much focus on the main plot. And if there was a bit of filler..... it was some entertaining one. The only thing was, everything was a bit rushed but still it was good.
ART: 9
The good quality art of the original was still there. Though there was a slight difference, the art looked quite fresh and crisp.
SOUND: 10
The OP and Endings were at par with
...
the first series, which is saying something.
The ending themes were first class while the OP too was in sync with the story.
Thankfully, the seiyuu hadn't been changed and one still felt connected to the story and characters.
CHARACTER: 10
Though there was no significant character development, but the emotions of love, loss, grief, despair were enough to move me and... the characters FELT real.
ENJOYMENT: 10
Undoubtedly enjoyable. Especially the fight scenes weren't that boring as every episode was a new turning point with a new flavour to the story.
OVERALL: 10
Extra comment: If some people believe that the interest in InuYasha has faded or this series lacked feel or this series failed to excite viewers... I beg to differ.
I WATCHED the WHOLE of series InuYasha along with ALL the movies just that I'd be able to watch this season of InuYasha after I was impressed by its promotional advertisements etc.

InuYasha, masterpiece of Rumiko Takahashi, and the blend of Sengoku era action with romance is undoubtedly one the best and most popular anime of 2000s.
The first season in particular is excellent as the idea of a time-travelling modern girl and the hanyou with their intricate past and future strikes a rapport with everyone. As the story progresses a set of great characters with deep pasts are revealed and the plot thickens. The fifth season in particular is one of the main turning point of the series with a nail biting suspense.
But as the anime goes on, the story gets more dragged and a bit

of ho-hum as the inu-gumi are way too busy pursuing their goal.
On the whole it is a great series with consistently good character design and first class sound effects.
Its theme score too is one of the best as the theme songs by the best singers (Ayumi Hamasaki, BoA, Namie Amuro, Do As Infinity etc.) keep changing as the mood of the series changes.
All in all a memorable anime with an epic feel.
