High School Fleet (Movie) is a sequel to the High School Fleet anime. Like in the anime series, a lot of maritime jargon is used in the movie. Yet being unknowledgeable to maritime jargon, you'll enjoy this.
WHY WATCH THIS:
Recommending this movie if you are after on the fighting scenes with strong-minded and kawaii girls as the characters, a mix of drama in respect to friendship, a fighting scenes of cruiser and battleship, the sound of artillery (highly recommended LOL) and sound of waves caused by the ships, and how do battles occur in ocean bodies.

If you like tanks, epic fighting scenes of tanks, mediocre of war genre, and the sound of tanks then this anime is for you (in my opinion). Girls und Panzer is straight action anime to the extent that it shows the character development every battle. This is like Love Live! School Idol Project combining with tanks. It have a huge resemblance of the plot; like let's do our best to stop the closure of the school. And the two anime have an orange colored hair as their leader or commander. However in this anime, it have a fighting scenes instead of drama. ...

Hoping this anime will get a season 2!
This anime has a lot of potential, when it comes to the plot and its art. The plot of the anime is unique. It is like Romeo and Juliet but both striving to have a peace with two families. The thing that this anime is lacking is its fighting scenes. Lacking in a sense of how will the battle end, wondering on who will be the victor. Character development isn't needed since the the characters are already strong. However, it must explained on next season on how they become strong. Overall this anime is good, I recommending it ... |
