I didn't have big expectations for this manga, but I was bored so I decided to read it.
I was pleasantly surprised. The first story is bittersweet, but I liked it. It's about vampire and a girl from a count family, But it is not a happy love story. It has a terrible twist.
The second one is definitely my favorite it's about a couple of students who can see ghosts and it's hilarious and at the same time adorable. Then you get the epilogue for the first story just to remind you of the tragedy. All in all great read.

First things first, I'm a big fan of the 80's and 90's anime.
I watched the prequel "AD Police" and comparing to that one which was darker and capturing more chaotic outlook of future, this one has a "solid" story and focuses more on police work and drama that life as a police officer in 2020 brings.
Story 8/10
I see that many complain about "same damn thing happening" well they are the police who deals with boomers gone haywire, so ofc, the base of every story is going to be just that. But as you go further, the plot thickens as they are chasing the criminal who ... is smart and cunning. I loved the story, to be honest, it has a lot of unexpected moments.
Characters 8/10
Kenji is a hot-shot, always getting into troubles and jumping into danger, not thinking about anything. That was my first take on this character, however, there is a reason for that, and as you watch episodes you learn about his pain and his bad luck of losing partners.
Hans is my favorite. I can't say much without spoiling, so I won't. He's an easy-going, likable character, who as well as Kenji has a personal story. He is assigned to be his partner.
Other characters I liked also, and I think they are developed well.

Good compilation of soundtracks, fitting of every moment in anime, goes hand in hand with evoking "feels."

I didn't expect that I would love it this much cause I saw many discouraging reviews here, but I decided to give it a shot and was not disappointed.

I really enjoyed this manhwa. Was searching for some good love story with the vampires, and I found this one.
My second time reading it, cause during the first read I was a bit confused. Now things got clarified a bit, and I still love it.

I didn't expect love between the guys, but the story is done in a way in which I didn't mind. So don't drop it if you're not into it. It's a good story which might be confusing when Adrian shows up because the shit is about to go down lol. So I recommend you read it carefully, it's ... not something others can explain to you cause every reader has his own interpretation of it as well as the ending itself. I read many comments of other fans describing how they understood the ending.

Characters 8/10
I LOVE Jae. She's strong spirited and stubborn, doesn't tolerate shit.
Michael is a complex character, and he's supposed to be like that, he's a vampire who lived for centuries.
Eva and Ken... Tormented characters. My favorite male is Ken, because he's showing incredible growth from the beginning 'till the end.

A hundred times better love story than a Vampire Knight for me, lol. You should give this one a chance if you are a fan of the vampires like me :)

"Gold is better than Silver" the saying goes, well not in this case.
I came across Gold because the art was done by Kazuko Fujita whose art I adore. So first off, when I started reading, I thought the drama meter is pretty much the same as in manga "Silver." Oh, boy was I wrong.
Story 6/10
The story starts dramatic and interesting, grabs your attention on the first page. Later on, you are like, okay, this is way too dramatic even for a cliche manga. I don't even know where to start with the things... I was like: I just can't... So this is one of the ... soap operas where you continue to read just because you... Ummm....Want to finish the manga, and despite everything hope that the heroine is not that dumb. Maybe, just maybe she will be smarter.
Characters: 5/10
Cliche over 9000. And I read over a thousand josei manga, just sayin' Heroine is stupid. What I hate the most is typical "Oh, she is good therefore we will make her the dumbest individual here." So tired of good=stupid shit. I will just mention plastic surgery, you will see.
The hero is no better. You think he should be the reasonable one in the relationship and be able to detect crap, because life slapped him sufficiently, but no, the villainess toys with him in the same way as she does with the heroine.
Which brings us to MISCHIEF. JUST HER NAME. My god.
Is there a word that exceeds the definition of a word cliche? If this was not a soap opera you would get rid of her the first chance you get. And the story would be better! BUT NO.
I won't go into details of how much I would slap her, but you know when the main charas are dumb as these, they kinda deserve it.

Even though there are many things I didn't like, I also read this twice so yeah it pretty decent compared to the many of the josei ones I read. It did keep me glued but dragged waaaaaaaaaaay too much. (comparison: Goku vs Freeza, 5 minutes 'till Namek explodes. Also, Mischief is indestructible something like Broly.) And in the end I rolled my eyes heavily after talk no justu.

Quick and easy read, if you are a fan of josei genre, you can kill time with it.

If you like drama, this is the manga for you. I admit I loved it, (read it three times, to be honest) even though it has so much cliche and unnecessary smut. I'm a sucker for a good old fashioned "revenge plot" stories.

This manga is based on Penny Jordan's (English writer, mostly romance) novel "Silver" and I didn't like it at all, the manga is way better. I gave it a seven because the quality drops in the end, and there are parts where the plot is dragged on too much for my taste. From the summary, you can get the conclusion that ... this is, in fact, a soap opera. A good one.

I loved all the characters, (yes, even the heroine, goodness gracious, although I wanted to smack her few times in the end). My favorite has to be Jake, the poor fellow was put through shitstorm, but then again, all the charas were. Especially Geraldine, aka. Silver.
Now, as for the "evil ones," I actually think they are done fine, realistic even.
The asshole Charles is not a typical villain. There is that "gray area" which makes every character more relatable, and all in all, there is a development in each of the main characters.

Example: Let's just read another chapter (9 pm)... Later: Oh boy, just one more... (3 am). xD

Quick and easy read, makes you want more and more until you reach the few chapters in the end. Still, if you are a fan of josei genre, this is a must read for you.

Another typical Hq romance story. I would put this one in a "decent pile." Since it's a Harlequin story, you basically know what to expect; drama, one-dimensional characters, and a basic plot.

Has a simple plot but it's okay. It was cute and I would say it was a success, since the mangaka managed to squeeze a fair amount of storyline considering the limited number of pages.

Comparing to the most of the HQ heroes and heroines out there, these are fine. And trust me, this girl was okay compared to the goody-stupid-gullible-virgin ones. The hero was tolerable on my jerk meter. Again there were ... worse ones.
Other characters are there basically to get the two of them together.

It's an okay read, so you should give it a go if you don't have anything else to read from this genre, or if you're a Harlequin fan like me.

Interesting start, it drags you in, but that's about the only positive thing I have to say.
The hero is an annoying ass, but as usual, he has a reason why. (Not really justified in my book, but hey, that's HQ policy).
I like to say the heroine's attitude towards the hero is divided into 5 phases:
1. "Why the hell am I falling for such a jerk, but I can't resist his kisses, he's hot."
2. "He's a jerk because of sob story, So, he's a kind jerk."
3. "I want to have sex with this jerk because I love him."
4. "He will never love me, ... so I better forget him no matter how huge of a jerk he continues to be."
5."He said he loves me despite all the s**t he put me through, so I'll just forgive him and live happily ever after. Who cares?"
My interest in the story dropped significantly when I reached the middle of it, mostly because the relationship between the main charas is bollocks; the plot was interesting in the beginning, but fell flat since you can pretty much predict what happened without reading the whole thing. Not to mention their behavior.

Didn't like the hero or the heroine. He treated heroine horribly, and while I could somewhat understand why in the start, the rest of it didn't make sense.
The heroine's behavior towards the hero is confusing. You spent with him so little time and yet you love him? Even though he only insults you then wants to have sex with you. Nah. No bueno in my book.

Wouldn't recommend, but even if you read it by accident and think it can't be worse than this, well it can, I read worse stories than this one trust me. That's why I gave it 4.

Pity, a good story was rushed and ruined at the end for me. I know that the mangaka has a limited number of pages to work with, but the story is not properly conveyed, which is the biggest problem for me when it comes to the manga based on romance novels.

It has a really interesting start; time traveling a mystery-solving.
Enough to poke your interest. The romantic development between the characters was also sweet, although the hero did annoy me a little.
The hero accused heroine so much, but changed his mind after two weeks, which is really quick and unrealistic, but the "limited number of ... pages issue" is the one to blame.
To be honest, I could go pass everything, except the ending scene. It looked kind of off, and meh -_-

Not much to tell here, as their back stories are not in the focus, since they are solving the mystery and are in 1884. Some of the supporting characters were there just because. Again blame it on the "limited number of pages."

Despite its flaws, It kept my attention. For you who seek interesting and not so realistic story, this one satisfies several criteriums such as history, time travel, murder, and of course, romance. Would recommend for reading.

Harlequin manga, so you know what to expect if you read several stories.
Story: 7/10
Would put this one in a pile of good Harlequin manga; I can't say it's typical, but the "plot" is used countless of times.
It's somewhat refreshing story, where the heroine, although extremely stubborn, is not your typical HQ heroine. I came to love the story when hero's mother showed up, "the voice of reason," basically telling them they were both fools, which made me laugh hard.
To sum it up in one sentence: the hero and the heroine play the game "who is more stubborn."
Characters: 6/10
Max: A playboy who has ... a hard time admitting he is in love with Clea; suspicious, stubborn, and tries to do "the right thing."
Clea: A headstrong, but a capable young woman, who thinks Max sees her only as a sex partner and will get bored with her. She doesn't trust he loves her.
I gave six because of good side characters.
Art: 5/10
Didn't really love the art that much, but again, I saw even worse so this is average.
Overall: 7/10
Again, only because of the refreshing story, moderately realistic life circumstances, and not your typical heroine, although the ending was rather classic.

Story: 6/10
One of the most used plots in the josei genre, same as in Harlequin manga.
The heroine (Faith) confronts the hero (Stone) who was her guardian, that she wants to pay him back everything she owes him, (girl he has billions on his account) and work hard to realize her dream, but he thinks she's too immature and naive. (and she is).
As "the wheels of fate turn," (also typical josei plot) Stone is given the standard josei condition/plot maker (from his mother, the CEO of the company he wants) to marry somebody and live with that woman for a year in ... order to inherit the company. Guess who will he pick?
Characters 6/10:
Stone (30): The drop dead gorgeous bachelor, chased by countless women, rich as well, something typical for josei manga; Has feelings towards the heroine he hid because of their age difference.
Faith (20): An earnest heroine, who is clueless and in love with Stone since she was a teen. Naive and good, as well. (So about 85% of the typical josei heroines).
Art: 6/10
Art is acceptable, I somewhat like the way characters are drawn. It's not perfect, but I've seen worse.
Overall: 6/10
One of the classic, kinda Cinderella, stories with the expected plot for somebody who read countless josei manga like me. For somebody who is just starting, it's a good one, sweet, and the hero is not a huge jerk.
