I was looking for something gory and dumb to watch for Halloween and boy did I find exactly what was looking for! If you have seen stuff like Violence Jack and Corpse Party and you weren't put off by the violence and you're into that kind of vibe I recommend this very short anime. I mean come on the sister eats the brother for a whole episode! who doesn't love that? the anime could have used more scenes with the monster tearing people apart and that last episode didn't need to be wholesome other then that its a sold 6/10. Flying Phantom Ship is a wonderful mystery spectacle for anyone who loves over the top anime. this film was hard to predict, so many events come out of nowhere. things like Giant robots kaiju attacking a city or A spectral skeleton that is out for revenge stepping out from the shadows that possess a flying ghost ship poised with lasers and rockets! if that doesn't make you curious how about a dog that carries around a bag of momentous? at its core this is a film about a boy and his dog and is a metaphor for the sudden moments of loss and hardships in
