Do you think one should aim to have a small number of 10/10 ratings?

I agree that even the best light novel adaptations have to leave out internal monologues and such. I also like how you are rating anime on your list, I think I have a few too many 10/10s so I’m going to rework my rating scale a bit. May I ask how you rate you anime? Do you follow what MAL says to do, for example 5 = average, 6 = fine, 7 = good etc. ?

You have some amazing taste in anime! One thing I’m wondering, I watched shield hero a year or two back and thought it was just okay, but you have the light novels in your favorites. Is the anime pretty similar to the novels?
